Straight Garbage, I don't know he ended up with the Astros from a last place team- year in and year out. Wake me up when he talks a walk via not HBP, or intentional walk.
I will say looking at the Yankees, Orioles, Guardians, Braves and Dodgers, none of those teams are very comfortable with their starting rotation moving forward. The Astros aren't the only ones with huge question marks. Phillies are without a doubt the best situated in that department, they've got 4 studs.
My family and I are going to the game tomorrow. Never been to Target Field. We’ve got good seats just a few rows behind the Astros dugout. Anyone who’s been to the ballpark before have any suggestions for a great gameday and ballpark experience?
Have a great time and hopefully the astros win. I believe @rocketsjudoka lives in Minneapolis and can give you some tips since he attends astros games there.
Don’t think I’m going to make it to tomorrow’s game but Target field is a pretty nice stadium. Best way to get there is to take LRT as there is a station right at the stadium. There is a big downtown festival Happening tomorrow so traffic is going down to be bad and parking might be a problem. Target field itself is pretty nice and you should have no trouble inside the stadium
This was a 10 game road drip, astros have won 6 out of 9 so far. Let's see if we get the good Spaghetti without the meatballs.
Twins lineup is pretty good. I worry if Brown, who has superior stuff to Arrighetti, couldn't handle them what Arrighetti will do today. Let's pray the rosary today.
Maybe he won’t give up 3 hits in the first two inning with a 64, 64 and 70 exit velo. Without those Brown cruises.
If Houston can win without Tucker and Alvarez they will have earned it. Man I REALLY like what Cesar Salazar has brought to this team. I would love for the post-deadline and 2025 bench to be Dubin, Caratini, Salazar, and Cabbage.
I think if Houston doesn’t think Loperfido is an everyday player then he should either be in the minors trying to develop into one or traded to a team that values him like he’s an everyday player.
He's too young to be thought of that way. He can pay his dues just like Dubon, Cabbage, Meyers and such have done over the years and should only be considered in a trade if it nets the Astros a strategic piece back.
Agreed. I’d give Leon a shot before Cabbage. He is what he is. He was a gamble worth taking, but it’s probably time to cut him loose.
