Claiming racism when it doesn’t exist hurts the cause. He is being booed because casual and irrational fans think the Astros only won because of the cheating and they think booing Altuve is fun and gives them an opportunity to try and affect his play on the field. The laugh is on them, because I think he feeds off it, rather than resents it. Altuve is a special person on and off the field. One of the classiest baseball players of all time as well as a hall of fame worthy player.
Absolutely. We are missing Altuve today because of their bullshit jealousy beaning. Gotta make em pay. Take out 2 of their players. If not today then tomorrow for sure.
We do need to add an extra bat at the deadline. Even with Altuve and Tucker back, I want us to be 9 deep and Singleton, Loperfido, and McCormick do not foot the bill. We have to be demonstrably better offensively with our suspect oft-injured and young pitching staff. Relying on Blanco, Arrighetti, and Brown to be able to handle the load and hoping Verlander, Framber, and Garcia are firing on all cylinders is wishful thinking. I hate that we will have to again sell off our prospects, but we need to be swinging for the HR the next 2 years. Getting an Ace and 1b for the next 2 years is tantamount.

Last year at the game three playoff game in Target Field I showed up with my Altuve jersey and sure enough in the concourse some Guys started yelling “Cheater!!” I turned to them and said “but you love Carlos Correa” and they said “of course” and shut up after that. anyway even last night i had to tell someone who is a very good friend that most evidence is that Altuve didn’t cheat and even Correa has said that and in the meantime Altuve has not distanced himself from Correa, Springer, or any of the other players in that 2017 team. The reason why Altuve gets so much hate is because he was and still is the face of this Franchise and also because so much of the Yankee and Dodger fan base hate him. That spreads to the rest of the MLB.
What world do you live in? Altuve is the leader of the Stros, he catches crap from opposing fans for the cheating scandal because of this. Race has nothing to do with this.
Seems like it may be time to call Whitley up and have him hit Correa. If he gets suspended you really aren't missing much.
