Sure. And I don't think he should go to prison for life. I do think he should be banned from the NBA. Men that abuse women shouldn't be allowed to remain in a position of influence over our children. It's not exactly a secret that money can get you out of these sorts of situations relatively unscathed more often than not. Particularly if your victim is not only a woman, but a woman of color. It's often enough that straight up rapists aren't held accountable, and domestic abuse cases are often much murkier than that. As victims of abuse commonly do. I don't think I know more than she does. I think I know what she initially told police before she realized that it would destroy his whole career. I don't for a second doubt that, despite the abuse, she cared about him and didn't want to see his career ruined. I do believe some of the claims the Police made were exaggerated. But there is reportedly video of her fleeing the room while screaming and bleeding. And we also know that the Rockets did their own investigation and decided to let him go. That doesn't scream innocent to me. They had invested millions of dollars in him and had to just write that whole asset off. I doubt they did it lightly.
Kobe wasnt banned for life and Giddey wasnt banned for life so I dont see the logic that KPJ should be banned for life. KPJ was let go cuz because Rox didnt want smoke. That has nothing to do whether he deserves to be banned from the NBA. KPJ wasnt innocent he already got probation and a misdemeanor. Nobody is saying he is innocent but the law already meted out his punishment. To add more than that is you trying to be above the law which isnt really right.

Thats also a lie. They cut him after NYPD's press conference falsely accusing KPJ of strangling and breaking her neck. Lies so egregious, Kysre came out and called them out on their bullshit. She had a recording from the DA apologizing for the lies, but y'all would rather believe imaginary evidence than actual evidence. I was told by an NBA friend they offered her a settlement, which is why she hasn't publicly spoken about this incident since. KPJ may have received an undisclosed amount as well. If she screamed with blood running down her face in a hallway at a lavish hotel in Manhattan NYC there would be footage (that would've been leaked by now) and witness statements. One of the first things police officers do is take photos of injuries. If you've seen this "reported footage" of her screaming in the hallway, please post a link so we can all see. Kysre and her attorney have both said repeatedly what's been reported is "nowhere near what happened" and rightfully accused NYPD/DA of discrimination and CORRUPTION - but nobody wants to focus on that. She had no bruises, no discoloration, nothing to indicate KPJ assaulted her. She was hurt due to her own doing, because she was upset, wild and beside herself, but KPJ still held himself accountable after all of this because he could've just left and stayed in another hotel room that night. He knew how she'd react. According to my NBA friend, she was the aggressor.but because she was loud, screaming for him to leave etc, staff overhears and calls police. Police officers see a big black man with braids and a woman who (from first glance) appears to be a white or mixed woman and refused to believe he didn't assault her... The same as y'all. I don't condone a man hitting a woman. If I ever saw it in person the man would have to fight me too. I grew up with two older sisters. But I've also been a victim of domestic violence. My much bigger (at the time) sister used to beat my ass growing up until I got too big for her to hit. The driver said his ex gf was the aggressor and Jonathan Majors is the one who called the police. He still got convicted. Same city, same police, same DA. People say racism no longer exists but it's staring at you right in the face. You'd rather believe that this 23 year old is a monster who will never change than to believe it's possible he was discriminated against. Even with the "victim" claiming the same thing. It says more about who y'all than KPJ. Thank God he had money for attorneys or he'd be locked up for years for something he didn't do. The Rockets wanted him BACK. He shouldn't have even been cut before an investigation or outcome of the trial. Holiday was signed after KPJ chose the Clippers, so that should tell you something. LOTS of teams wanted KPJ. I sent messages to people letting them know he had multiple suitors wayyyyy before the reports came out. Whatever KPJ did in the past, it doesn't make what NYPD and DA did ok. We should all be outraged. The reason you aren't is because of your deep rooted hate for black men. People want him locked up for life and his career ended just like the NYPD/DA. They were willing to lie to get this done and y'all are willing to believe the lie to keep the party going.
NYPD is corrupt we saw that with the Johnathan Majors saga as well. Their DA's seem to falsefy a lot of accounts that either never happened or were greatly exxagerrated Rockets fanbase just has a soft spot for euros and lightskins we saw many on this site defending josh giddey and most recently jj reddick like the plague.
