Literally the worst thing that could happen to Bobbythegreat is a collective effort to ignore him where he does his trolling bait and not a single person replies where he feels like he is trolling into the abyss.

Nonsense. I encourage all people too feeble minded to carry on an intelligent conversation, such as yourself, to take themselves out of the conversation by using the ignore feature.

We both know people like you have nothing of substance to add and this way you are less likely to derp up threads whining about when I point out the obvious.

This was a good interview. I enjoyed watching this and it was a pretty good conversation. Not a bunch of nothing speak, but some actual substance and insight.

Excluding a few issues with execution and the owner — the Rockets FO is sharp, while most national media and some people on here think they’re square.

“The Rockets want to trade everything for Mikal Bridges” —> actually we’re primarily interested in the PHX picks, but destabilizing Bridges and the Nets was a fun bonus

“The Rockets want Donovan Clingan at #3” —> actually that was a smokescreen, we wanted Reed Sheppard the whole time

“The Rockets are desperate to trade premium assets for win now veterans this summer” —> actually we’re leaving the summer having turned down a pursuit of guys like BI, Dejounte, Smart etc, and have accumulated more far future picks and another blue chip prospect

“The Rockets will be star hunting via trade and 2025 cap space” —> actually they’re creating leverage for extension negotiations with Sengun and Jalen Green, to get them at reasonable $ figures, which has cascading positive effects to keeping most of the young core together long term (my guess)

When you’re sharp, sometimes you want everyone to think you’re square.

It's weird. It's like there is a national agenda to break up this team

You can't pay everyone, that's the problem. Sengun needs and will get a max. Jalen? If he get a max then you might be stuck. I think you can have a third but not sure. We can't keep Amen, Cam, Tari, Reed, Jabari on reasonable contracts if those two are maxed.

I'd trade Jalen and figure out who our second max should be: Jabari, Amen, Cam? Reed hasn't played a minute so I'm not thinking about him yet. Jabari is underrated on this board, he might deserve the max or close to it. Amen might deserve the max but his shooting could prevent his breakout into stardom. Cam hasn't played enough to know either way. This includes losing FVV and Brooks eventually. Both of these vets are slept on a bit, FVV especially. He deserves a ton of props for getting us up to 41 wins.

I'm not so sure about that last one.... they probably will be star hunting and there's no way to get "leverage" with restricted free agents. They merely delayed paying Sengun to keep cap space for a potential deal.

Like I said before, ignore their words, trust their actions.... they didn't compile all of those picks to just pay their own guys and pick a million more guys in the first round. They DEFINITELY want to go star hunting.

We can't keep every kid we drafted. Some of these kids are assests and Jalen is a very good asset. We need a near elite shooter to be in the mix. He should die so that we can live.

That’s exactly what he said. That’s probably why he has repeated himself with incessant negative posts about Green for years now. It perturbs him that he stated “perhaps one day he can get to Brewer’s level” player of the week awards don’t help either. Then you hear the Corey Brewer reference.

Thennnnnn you have to just buckle down and make another few hundred posts repeating your damn self into the infinite ether.

Never mind the fact that Jalen will pass up Brewer’s career accumulation of total points scored and assists by the time he is 23. If his improved rebounding holds up he should be able to pass that number up before the end up next season.

No matter what Jalen Green does bbtg will always move the goal posts. That’s exactly what an internet psycho is supposed to do. Repeat themselves ad nauseam, never admit they are wrong, insult 80% of the fans that post here of the team you are supposed to be a fan of yourself.

That was the difference maker, if he was hitting 32% from 3 like normal, the fluke run ends.... you know, like it actually did end and he went back to being dogshit for the final 9 games of the season when the 3's stopped falling.

Right. The FO at least seems to have adopted a strategy of "Don't sign just any star, regardless of fit or price." That alone is a big relief.

    Good you're dumb.

In what universe does "if he never improves then he's Corey Brewer 2.0" mean that's his ceiling?

    Seriously, try harder.

Nope you said hopefully one day he can get to Corey Brewer’s level. Regardless it’s semantics. You’re a complete a**hole it shows here in over half your posts. Now run along and go mock someone for having a child with autism.

sure bobby...you're right, he wasnt having bad games shooting, while still leading the team to victories being a distributor and quality defender. He didnt have any bad games shooting yet was still a huge positive during that "fluke".

    sure....

Like I said... The ultimate worst case scenario for Bobby is everyone just collectively ignores him where his unhinged trolling rants are expressed towards a dark abyss where it stares back at him

We don't think that. We think March was about a bunch of tanking teams trying to improve their lottery odds because when the games got serious again he went back to sucking.

It all hinges on his shooting, when that's not there, he's a net negative because the rest of his game depends on it since he's such a terrible defender.

I'm sorry that's apparently news to you...

That really is a fake narrative. His biggest games of the season were against teams like the Thunder and Lakers. After March he outplayed Ant in a head to head against the Wolves.
