It was the flashback scenes with Joel McHale as 5* chef that reminded my brother of, almost exactly, of Thomas Keller. And then Ralph Fiennes took it over the edge.
lol... that mini-movie was one of the best things to come out on television in awhile.... and will serve as a stand-alone "must watch" for anybody prior to the holidays. I believe this is the last season based on the original plan. Sounds about right as the restaurant has been opened and I feel they have the opportunity to tie all up nicely.
Everyone has been telling me to watch this show, so I just finished watching the first season. It's ok, but I think its pretty overrated. Honestly don't feel the need to continue to season 2.
its more of the same. people who absolutely suck at dealing with stress trying to work a stressful job.
Some of the episodes of season 2 were great in my opinion. For example the Denmark one was awesome. Partly because I love that city as well.
Then why do you watch it. Not being snarky, would really like to know. I am really fascinated by people that hate watch tv shows. Watched ep 4 last night. So real and a fantastic performance by Liza Colon-Zayas...went a long way toward explaining why she's such a tough nut to crack. Noticed that Ayo directed...she's reached "Will Watch Everything She is In" status.
You mean episode 6? That's what I watched last night. I enjoy the show for the characters. They feel authentic. Although the Faks are annoying this season. They're like the Transformer twins in Transformers 2.
I have not watched all of it, just the first and a few random episodes. Every single one is an absolute snooze fest and felt like over acted crap. To answer your question, I'm not a hate watcher, if I hate it, I don't watch it. I think people hate watch to be able to say they saw all of it and it still stinks in their mind. That, plus they are probably bored, and/or want to be in the conversation for the show around the water cooler.
Yeah, I think hes talking about ep 6. It brought that whole show down to such a human-level of struggle. Show is fantastic. The Faks are a little annoying but gives the show some breathing room on how serious it can be. Its a nice reprieve every once and a while, so it works imo.
