I can't comprehend how a adult doesn't understand how government functions.

    Let's test your knowledge.

With how our executive branch functions which would be more harmful as a president? A paper weight or a fascist?

They should go with wes moore. Seems like the next obama. Has a great story. Grew up in a single mother home. Started on the streets turned his life around. Army captain. Rhodes Scholar. Has a ton of charisma. Good speaker. Not a lot of baggage.

Would I like Biden to step aside, I would BUT the more I learn about it the harder it seems to do. I heard one pundit say they would need to look at the polls in the swing states on how this could affect polling which would take another week. You then have a month to the convention, and I would assume the candidates would then have the convention party vote on a winner, not positive though.

This was already going to be a tight race and the smallest % could turn the tide and I have a feeling (even if its a small %) some independent voters might skip out or vote for RFK. I think Biden (if he is going to stay in) needs to do a bunch of televised town halls, unscripted, and show the American public he had a bad debate.

I am so pessimistic at this point that I am preparing myself to what a second trump term would look like and the only saving grace is that he is a lazy pos and the ONLY reason he is doing this is to stay out of prison, he does not give a rats ass about Joe six pack, he wants to the recognition of being the president and grift while he is there................he`s not there to make a real difference BUT this time he will have maga influencers around him to take us back to 1925 and if someone blocks him he will just go to scotus to get the maga agenda approved, no matter what they have to do

I'm more worried about who is going to be surrounded by Trump. You are right that Trump is lazy in a sense.

But are people like Stephen Miller lazy? No and those are the people who will be running the executive branch.

That's why Biden being a paper weight is irrelevant to me. Biden isn't going to have a bunch of Stephen miller types running around in the West Wing.

I'm an unaffiliated voter in a swing state.

That debate took more wind out of my desire to vote in the upcoming election than any event in living memory.

Several live, unscripted appearances by Biden looking very sharp are exactly what I need to see.

Incels and self-serving leeches that are not appointed for their honesty or ability - but because they are loyal to Trump.

I had heard of Wes Moore and decided to use the old google machine to look him up and man, on the surface this guy is a future up and comer but he might need to be the NOW candidate. I would back this dude and I also like the fact he is young. The more I read the new polls and the in house fighting on the dems side, Biden needs to step down and I hope he does and I hope he does it for the betterment of all Americans...............but if he stays in, I will still vote for him. not for him, but to vote against trump.

Umm.... is it concerning to have an unqualified, foreign influence peddling, drug and sex addicted felon advising our vegetable brain President? I think there's a slim chance Biden resigns if Hunter has his ear. Hunter's freedom literally depends on a pardon/commutation.

Hunter Biden has joined White House meetings as he stays close to the president post-debate
While he is regularly at the White House residence and events, it is unusual for the president's son to be in and around meetings that his father is having with his team.

WASHINGTON — Hunter Biden has joined meetings with President Joe Biden and his top aides since his father returned to the White House from Camp David on Monday evening, according to four people familiar with the matter.

The president’s son has also been talking to senior White House staff, these people said.

While he is regularly at the White House residence and events, it is unusual for Hunter Biden to be in and around meetings that his father is having with his team, these people said. They said the president’s aides were struck by his presence during their discussions.

Hunter Biden was found guilty last month by a jury in a federal court in Delaware on gun-related charges. He remains under indictment for tax-related felonies, which he has pleaded not guilty. Shortly after the jury found him guilty, Hunter Biden returned to his home in California.

One of the people familiar with the matter said Hunter Biden has been closely advising his father since the family gathered this past weekend at Camp David after Thursday’s debate. This person said Hunter Biden has "popped into" a couple of meetings and phone calls the president has had with some of his advisers

Democratic Rep Angie Craig has also publicly expressed concern about Biden but not saying definitively he should step aside. Her district is a true swing district.

Democratic Mn Governor Tim Walz who is head of the governors association has also expressed concern and will be meeting with Biden soon.

You mean like Republicans like JD Vance, Marco Rubio and Lindsey Graham who have said Trump is unfit for office and have followed the courage of those concerns.
