    It's all about FA 2025

Decline FVV option, trade Brooks, Tate, and Landale. Boom you have like 70-80 million for FA 2025. Can sign or absorb any unhappy superstars contract without trading/giving up any of the core 7

If the young Rockets step up this year we could have 80 million for any star player or aging stars who want to hop on the train before we have to start extending players rookie deals

imo jock deserves to stay after his play to end the season. tate on the other hand has not improved one bit since joining the rockets, so ship him off. jeff green has decent games mixed in with lots of duds. i prefer letting him go so ime can’t use him as a veteran crutch going forward… give those minutes to tari & bari

I would rather ship out brooks and/or Tate. Both landale and Adams are could be crucial to our success depending on injuries and both could be very valuable at the trade deadline

I think it is a combination of stone and ine. Ime wants vets that play defense and stone is playing the long game with tradeable contracts. I would love then to dump brooks, because I want our future superstar to get all the minutes possible at sf this year. Amen is our future. I think they wait until the deadline

I want Naz Reid in 2025 free agency. But I suspect he’ll be looking for a starting role.

Jock is a very solid 3rd string center. Their is no guarantee Adams will stay healthy, especially coming off a year long injury.

Jock was also really good in Phoenix; arguably the best center on their roster. His poor play early in the season was cleary due to ankle injury he hadn't fully recovered.

Good! Create more drama in Dallas. This could ignite Kyrie and frustrate Luka. Incoming trade in 2025. Luka wants no taxes Texas and Rockets or Spurs only teams he'll except trade to. Guess who's got the better package?

You could say every position needs upgrade

Ime handpicked Brooks for his defense and physicality and toughness(rather fake tough or legit, it helped) that was good reason why Rockets finished .500

20$ mill is chump change in nba, and with him being basically the 4th option, 12 ppg sounds about right.....

Especially since Sengun/JG/Jabari are the key of them making that leap in standings, so they will (and should) get more fg attempts than Brooks, and you know VV is going to dominate the pill and get his attempts as well to justify his 40$ mill this season

Who do you want to trade Brooks for? The best chance seemed to be Bridges/PG13, but they are on new squads

Do you want the other Bridges from Hornets?

I would love to trade Brooks. But, I don’t see any teams lining up and making offers.

I don’t dislike the guy or the player. I just think we will have better players that will deserve his minutes.

Brooks is easily gonna go a team if available.. the disrespect on a first / second team defense player is disgusting

Hield was virtually unplayable in the playoffs and is not the guy he once was. Doesn’t move the needle.
