It would never happen. Steph is gonna retire there. However I’d definitely trade Fred plus one of our young players/ draft pick for him. Reed to pick his brain and grow under would be awesome.
Quickly getting 35 million a year for 5 years and Hartenstein getting 29 million a year for 3 years I haven’t felt this way since Mozgof and Deng
Meh, I'd bet a lot of money Steph retires there regardless of the situation. He'll just play the role Dirk played post-championship. His legacy is pretty secured.
I agree. You just never know since the band is breaking up how he feels. Especially being left with Draymond. He'll probably finsh this contract and retire but you never know
LMAO... I knew I forgot somebody... the sad part is (1) used to live in N'Awluns & (2) helped bring Hornets / Pellies to N'Awluns (I used to work for the sports commission... they wanted a new franchise... I said "Neva gonna happen"... we almost got Twolves and then got Hornets after that)
Since we drafted Sheppard I'd say... probably not? If we had picked anybody else I would be demanding we acquire a guard who can knock down threes.
Y’all talking about Harris, Trent Jr, what minutes do we have guys. Are we expecting Sheppard and or Whitmore to stay in the G-League and ride the bench? Either we sign a 3rd stringer, or one or two of our young guys become the 3rd stringers.
We are going to sit tight with our guys and watch the Suns run it back one more year. When that fails, we trade FVV, Jalen, Landale + their picks for Booker and Beal. Then we plan our parade route.
There really aren’t many moves out there for us to make. Unless we can offload Jalen for a better player, it really feels like we should just stand pat.
The last slot is either for Aaron Holiday or his replacement so it's probably just gonna be someone like Shamet or Seth Curry. Undersized bad defense 3rd string 3pt shooting veteran guard who won't actually expect to play with the full roster. Personally wouldn't mind Alec Burks or Jae Crowder in that slot. I believe the former clutchfans draft sweetheart JT Thor is also available.
