Morey isn't clueless, his team's window is closing soon. It's a high risk move but the owners aren't cheap like in Houston. If it fails, Morey dips and commits to winning all the chess matches at MIT Sloan.
Morey is a petty mofo. Was harden expensive that he couldn't offer that? But does it for pg, this is gonna end poorly
And PG Doesn't??? What were his stats in the Close out game this year? PG 18 pts 11 rebs 5 asst 2 to HArden 16 pts 7 rebs 13 asst 1 to I get the hate but let's be real. Playoff P ain't never been a thing IN FACT - For the Mavs Series PG - 19.5 pts 4.8 assist 6.8 rebs 36.7% from 3 84% from the Stripe Harden - 21.2 pts 8 assit 4.5 rebs 38.3% from 3 90.6% from the Stripe Rocket River
In order to win . . . the 76ers need to establish a DISTINCT PECKING ORDER For Championships: 1. Maxey 2. Embiid 3. PG Rocket River
Funny that the richest owner in the NBA was the one to not do silly things like automatically give their aging stars max money at max years. He didn't do it for Kawhi and wasn't going to do it for Paul George. Their ceiling is not as high, but it wasn't going to be championship level anyway. Now it's the Harden and Kawhi show, which would have been interesting years ago.
That's what I was thinking. PG is only one year younger than Harden. And now he gets a 4-year deal that Harden didn't get.
lol @ DM with a big fukc you to Harden. Bbbut bbut but why would PG sign with a liar? Players talk you know.
Nothing wrong with that contract, any star is gonna go for that if they test free agency Also PG is waaaaaaay more reliable than Harden at this stage, Harden's been declining for 5 years PG looks like he's maybe one step below his prime Clippers don't have the money to sign all three of their stars to the deals they want, PG and Kwahi was always redundant to me didnt make sense Now will they get any value back for letting PG leave, prob not since there's no sign and trade
Where has PG shown to be reliable? He was the third best Clipper in the Playoffs .. . behind Harden He was not great shakes in OKC Rocket River
Smells like an Embiid 'get me someone or I will demand a trade' contract. Still doesn't make them title contenders especially if Embiid still wants to be PPG leader in the reg season while playing 35+ min.
Which is why the Sixers have to swing for the fences now. It's this year or next. Or bust. Nobody gives a care about '26 or '27.
LOL at people acting like Paul George is reliable and doesn’t choke in the playoffs if you’re a casual, just say that Paul George hasn’t played more than 56 games in a season 4 of the last 5 years…he is more mentally weak than Harden ever was, and wasn’t even better than him last season
Considering that they traded Shai and basically Jalen Williams for PG13 this trade it was a monumental disaster for the Clippers lol. Ok ok, we have no idea if they would have drafted Jalen but still they traded Shai who turned out being an MVP level player for Paul George. Just another example of trading young players and a bunch of picks ending up being a terrible idea.
