White men of their generation did and said things that aren’t right, and certainly by today’s standards are at a minimum racially inappropriate. the difference is the men they have been in the last decade, or better yet the men they are today. Biden talks and takes the actions of a man who is not racist. As for Biden, sure it absolutely benefitted him politically to name Harris as his VP and to nominate Ketanji Brown Jackson to SCOTUS. Maybe you think Harris wasn’t qualified. It is meritless to even float the idea that KBJ was underqualified. Just compare her to Coney Barrett or anyone else on the Court.
