I wonder if the Brick Castle is pissed off by the CP3 deal....remember he is the guy that told teams he wouldn't even work out for them if they had a veteran PG on the roster because he was demanding to start at PG from day one.
Honestly I'm concerned for Chris Paul's health... it's due time unfortunately. He starting with the Spurs I'm assuming... his body was used to coming off the bench and getting a consistent limited amount of minutes.
Spurs are famous for being the first aggressive load management team. I don’t think there is any confusion about a 39 year old player. They have Tre Jones to split minutes with CP3.
If anyone knows how to load manage players, it is Greg. He was the one doing it originally before LeBron and all other superstars caught on. CP3 will be fine.
Doubt it. Malik is going to want a bigger role and the Rockets can't give it to him. It would be bad asset management from the Rockets.
It's a great point. But how much better do the Spurs truly get having to do that with CP3 at this point in his career? If he just a players coach on the floor he may be a poor man's version of what FVV is for us right now.
I think CP3 for Spurs is going to be amazing from players development standpoint, not necessarily wins directly next season. Perfect signing. Just one year too. Great pickup by Spurs
I have to agree with you. I don't know if there is much left in CP3s tank. Could be a season similar to KGs last season. Hate to see the greats go out like that but father time does not forgive.
