Biden has been in obvious decline for quite a while now, to the point where they should have invoked the 25th a long time ago. There was just no way JillyB was going to let this happen and they certainly didn't want Harris. Also it would look very bad if the invoked the 25th because there were many people who stated Bidens first term was a mistake.

The wild card was JillyB. I dont think anyone realized what a terrible person she is. I think they wanted Biden to round out his term and step down. This is why I have always called him the sacrificial lamb. He was to take responsibility for all the bad things that happened in his term and there was to be nobody remaining to take any responsibility but the voters and Joe. Everyone knew this. It wasn't a secret. They simply refused to allow the state media to talk about it. The entire party and the state media had their knives behind their back waiting for the moment the debate was over to crucify poor joe.

The democrat party is rotting and corrupt. These are not the democrats of the 60's. They are highly authoritarian much like the GOP. They both take turns to feast on what is left of the political system. When a political system becomes so corrupt, the country starts moving to populism. We should be thankful we do not have fringe populist groups. Trump is bad, but we can do much worse.

so a possible 1% increase depending on how people identify and if you could black/hispanic.

Trump got 9% in 2016 and 12 % in 2020. Bush got 9% in 2000 and 11% in 2004. Trump DOES NOT have some magical pull to sway black voters.

My argument is twofold. 1. African americans will never significantly vote conservative. 2. Therefore courting that vote is fruitless in both reward and attainability.
