Series has felt like an 8 game series with all the blunders, lead changes, ump tomfoolery and now rain.
And apparently the Sox tried working on a extension but didn't go anywhere so aiming to trade him by the deadline even though under arbitration eligible through 2026.
Not sure why the delay other than a little thunder. I'm literally about 5 miles away from the stadium and it's barely sprinkling.
Geostorm! I got to get up to the space station to reset the satellites and flush the virus that can’t survive a reboot. To the choppa! To the non-Boeing spacecraft! Ahh!!!!!
Nope. Unless 5 miles from here is pouring down. They've played through weather much worse than this. It must be the thunder that scared them off because it did roar.
I'm actually on the fence as we don't fair well in extras. Wouldn't mind revisiting this game later in the season if need be keeping our record in tact.
Given they've already played the Yankees and about to play the Blue Jays.... would be fairly disruptive to try and squeeze another unscheduled NYC game. I'd rather they just play it out tonight, regardless of what time this starts, and make the short trip to Toronto. Mets may have a say as well since they have to travel to DC tomorrow... but its an evening game there.
Keep it until the end of the season. If we finish it today then we will lose. Just have that feeling.
