Trump lost Georgia because of wine drinking housewives in Augusta, not Atlanta. What counties in near Atlanta do you think will flip exactly?

hey, I'm just relaying the Washington Post's lead news article from today. If it has all the earmarks of a classic Russian information operation, I can't help that

and besides, the article is about Trump's campaign thinking they now have a chance in Georgia. I am not part of their campaign nor am I a campaign strategist. I am sure there are ClutchFans experts™ here, however, who are. You should ask them. ;)

They don't feel that way. All the donors are obsessed with getting another 4% of a dwindling tiny demographic.

The GOP will never be cool.

Give some examples please, I thought he did a great job of sitting back and letting Biden hang himself.

it occurs to me that another likely reason this lead news article in the Washington Post is no accident is the fact that the main Atlanta newspaper published its own, front-page editorial yesterday calling for President Biden to step aside.

The editorial at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution is paywalled (if anyone has access it would be great if you could share it). I really haven't seen anyone here yet mention it. But here's a non-paywalled article in the NY Post today reporting on that editorial:

Atlanta Journal-Constitution editorial board calls on Biden to drop out of 2024 race: ‘Retirement is now necessary’

Trump won 9% in 2016 and 12% in 2020. He won Georgia in 2016 and lost in 2020. What difference did the gain help him there?

    How did he badger Biden?

He just said I can't understand what Biden said and he didn't think Biden could understand either. That's not badgering, it's telling the truth. I thought Trump was very reserved. It's like we weren't even watching the same debate.

Just gain 3% in suburban moms and you will win by such a wide margin it won't matter.

I just can't help. This is all planned.- There's too many liberal outlets, demanding that Biden steps down- Even CNN seemingly did him no favors, which is a very left leaning news outlet...

I think there's a lot of smart people on the left side that realized Biden was done, but they needed to have this moment and they were ready to jump Against Biden- I almost feel sorry for the old fart- You spend all your life in politics just to get eaten by your own side when the timing is right..

the whole thing is just sad

'It's a mess': Biden turns to family on his path forward after his disastrous debate
Democratic leaders have stood by the president as he faces questions about his ability to defeat Trump in November. But privately, many are expressing concern.

    https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/biden-family-path-forward-disastrous-debate-mess-rcna159591

    excerpt:

Despite delivering a rousing speech at a rally in North Carolina on Friday that calmed some of his allies, Biden was described by one person familiar with his mood as humiliated, devoid of confidence and painfully aware that the physical images of him at the debate — eyes staring into the distance, mouth agape — will live beyond his presidency, along with a performance that at times was meandering, incoherent and difficult to hear.

“It’s a mess,” this person said.
