this umpire crew might be the most fit crew i've seen. most crew have dudes that look like they drink 2 six packs after a game.
Yes I watched. I know they haven’t teamed up since. I was just wondering if there was actually something that was said to the media by either.
The “meltdown cities” get a tad exagerratted simply because of how durable and overall consistent he has shown the ability to be. He was bad the second half of last season. Excellent the first half. Some say ankle injury, some say fatigue, some say just poor choice of pitching (trying to K everybody at 99 vs letting them put the ball in play). I get not liking a player… I don’t understand irrational hate. Just like I don’t understand racism. By no means is this anywhere comparable, but there will always be players that are beloved despite their performance and those that get increased scrutiny regardless. Very similar to Correa when he was here. I still see some are waiting for his back to crumple when he really hasn’t missed a game due to back specific issues for over 5 years.
I like all these guys? Diaz hits much better when he isn’t getting the full burden of catching. I wish Chas was better this year, but having Meyers step up has been vital…. And its a pretty crowded OF when you factor in Loperfido/Tucker/Dubon/etc.
