Contrary to your expertise… I am very familiar. It’s very painful. Tucker’s injury would have all the similar pain of that fracture. It’s also not a single joint or a nerve that can be blocked. If he’s still favoring it, all his swing mechanics and ability to get good jumps in the OF will be impacted.
Similar? Not even. I have broken several other bones and the pain wasn’t even close to when I fractured my tibia. I’ve had severely bruised bones as well, including a deep one in my foot that kept me from walking. Tucker didn’t have the distressful reaction one has from fracturing their tibia. By far the worst pain ever in my life. Not to mention I was in a cast for 6 weeks.
Framer has a chance to reclaim the place that should be his. Ace, stopper, #1 spot in the rotation however you want to refer to it. When he is on he has great stuff and is a pleasure to watch. Unfortunately when whatever happens to cause him to lose focus and suck, he can be frustrating and disappointing to watch. We never know we are going to get but he has been pitching better lately. We really need a great performance from him today. It's not the end of the world if we lose but today's game is a big game and we really need to win to keep going in the right direction. A loss today starts a new trend in the wrong direction. A win today and a win tomorrow and we win the series. IMO it's very doable.
Only Framber can have a dominating month like June and will still have everybody cringing when they see its his turn in the rotation… Of course he’s got the extensions now, so look out world.
Somebody explain to me why Brown can't pitch tomorrow on regular rest? Joe Espada might single-handedly sweep us this weekend and send us right back from whence we came.
I’m happy when he’s not simply trying to throw 99 with no sink. not happy when he goes rogue and doesn’t listen to the catcher or manager or pitching coach.
Glad you agree (in your own way) Framber can be lights out or meltdown city. Hopefully, he keeps up his june performance for a lot longer.
