today was my 1st time back in a theater since Wakanda Forever came out back in November of 2022…theater was about half full I hope this movie doesn’t end up struggling at the box office because I thought it was damn good…easily my favorite one of the 3, and I’d give it a 9.5/10…I thought it was that good they did an amazing job creating tension…this one had the greatest horror atmosphere some of the jump scares got me with 1 getting me embarrassingly bad…had me looking around hoping nobody saw loved the cat in this film, they need to book him for more work…I found myself rooting for the main cast in general 1 guy was going through incredible lengths to try and get laid before he dies…I see u brother overall, this was an excellent addition to this franchise/universe…I tip my cap
I saw the trailer for the next Alien movie that’s coming out for the 1st time during the previews, and I might go back to the theater for that one…the Nosferatu trailer caught my eye as well, but I’ll likely wait for it to come out on streaming and watch it at home
one thing I often do when it comes to horror movies is picture myself in that situation, and I already know I’d be gone quick in this universe…I’m definitely the type to see 1 of those things and be like “OH SH*T!!!” and get everybody killed some friends I know wouldn’t even last one meal with the way they be smacking when they chew…RIP to James, he died eating bread
Good review, compadre. I hate jump scares but in spite of that looking forward to it. @Kevooooo I think the first two are good, quality alien invasion movies that lean to the horror side.
