Ya'll just dont get tired of being wrong don't ya? Ann Coulter is not Trump nor is she running for president and never will even get close to. Trump is and Trump already has Vivek and Rubio as possibly his closest consultants. Trump has praised Vivek greatly and possibly more than anyone, Trump is likely to pick Vivek as VP....

Ann Coulter praised Vivek and also said she couldn't vote for him as president because he's Hindu.

Ann Coulter's sentiment about Vivek is aligned with insular suburban white evangelical families who might see a brown dude once a month.

"He's a Hindu? As Vice President? What is this country turning into?"

I know what she said, I saw the interview. She is wrong and does not speak for Trump or conservatives. Trump decides and if he does pick Vivek or Rubio I hope you see that Trump's best interest is the country.

Yep. They can forgive Trump's obvious irreligiousness because he pretends he is a Christian, empowers them, and sells Bibles. An avowed Hindu is something these people cannot support. They literally think other religions are controlled by demonic forces.

She speaks for a lot of conservatives. I live in reality. Have been in conservative right wing bubbles for long extended periods of my life.

The notion that a significant chunk of the GOP base would cringe at a Hindu being VP is very real. I'm sorry to break this to you.

IIRC she said she wouldn't vote for him because he's Indian (he was born in America) which IMO is even worse.

Not voting for someone because of their religion is fine. It's a value system. It makes sense.

Not voting for someone because they are the child of immigrants is uncomfortably close to ethno-nationalism.

I don't like to play mind reader, but I have serious doubts that if Vivek was the child of European immigrants Ann would treat him the same way.

Religion in this sense is more identity. There is no value system in evangelical Christianity.

Evangelical Christianity is more of a Identity marker than a marker about values. The values of evangelical Christianity are about maintaining power and the current social hierarchy.

For those who fail to understand the implications of electing a person who is in full mental decline - This person will be highly susceptible to the people they trust the most. Deep ingrained into their being is a sense of trust, even when they know something isn't right. There is nothing wrong with this. Ultimately the problem is when these trustworthy people become compromised with their own self interest. You would think a couple who has been married almost 50 years would put the well being of their partners first and foremost. If this is true, Jill is truly an awful person. If she is the only one convincing her husband to run, what other decisions would she compromise of joe?

Vivek is about as religious as I am. Which is like...not at all.

You do realize Trump is a life long Democrat? Still is a Democrat in policy.... Many conservatives may align with her views but many like myself don't, but most conservatives do trust Trump and if Trump wants Vivek I can assure you conservatives will 100% back Trump up....

Biden's cognitive issues will only get worse from here, and quickly. I can't believe his wife wants to keep doing this to him.

Trump's foray into gop politics started with spreading the rumor that Barack is from Kenya.

That's how he became popular with conservative households.

The allure of Trump by the right wing conservative base comes from the fact that he's a "businessman" and they've always believed a "businessman should run he government like a business"(very stupid but that's what they believe) and that "he tells it like it is" like saying that most Mexicans that migrate to the US are rapists and murderers but some he assumes are good people.

it's probably because Hunter Biden's next trial will probably kill him if he doesn't have something else to preoccupy himself with

While I agree it was better they didn't. With the format, let the candidates call out each other's lie.

But absolutely don't leave it up to the audience to figure out. The audience is stupid.

Biden corrected himself immediately after saying his son died in Iraq during the debate.

The Very Fine People thing remains something he really said.

this is one of the biggest lies Biden himself repeated last night, and it's a disgrace that it's all he has to fall back on at this point

Biden shows himself to be no better than Trump when he does this
