Relative to our choices right now, definitely. In a perfect world? Probably a lot less. If you’re just trying to get dems and independents in a vote against Trump it shouldn’t be that hard but the dems find a way. It’s amazing.

 

There are always surprises. Whitmer and Josh Shapiro jump out at me because of where they live. Raphael Warnock is another talented Democrat from an important state. Newsom doesn't seem viable to me because I don't think a slick California liberal can win the electoral college.

Agreed. It’s the day and age we are living in for better or worse (I think worse but it is what it is).

The key imo is Jill Biden and those closest to Joe. If this truly is just a fluke moment where strep throat got him at the worst possible time then that’s one thing, but if those closest to him know this is how his health is the majority of the time hard truths need to be spoken.

That being said, I do believe voters already know who they are voting for, and Biden could still win even if he was being given his last rites. Trump is the worst candidate in the history of our country by any metric. It’s really just the matter of whether the American people basically give up on Democracy because people either don’t like Democracy or they give up on Democracy because they vote based on who can say the most words that sound like words.
