White America is going to go nuts on his nerdy office intern look and his bowl cut haircut, love of country music and outdoor activities with the right amount of melanin for all those mid-west states. Ya'll thought Steph was loved, wait until Sheppard starts splashing threes, he is going to make Caitlin Clark obsolete before Christmas.
He looks like somebody gave the AI prompt "I need a picture of a good looking, wholesome kid to sell bible camp on posters." He's gonna be one of those "pretty white boys" like Kyle Korver where even if he doesn't become an actual star, he'll still have a big following as a hearthrob type haha.
Can you elaborate? Seems like you're saying we should have traded it, but if you don't know what was offered, how can you say we should have taken it? If you don't think he was the right player, then you would have just named the player that you wanted. Seems like you didn't want the Rockets to do "more" with #3, you just wanted the #3 a different year, Reed was the consensus 3rd pick the entire process. Too bad there were no Tatums or Lukas this year at #3, but I think the Rockets played their hand as best as it could be played.
I'm pissed I can't find a way to embed the video. Because got damn I literally rolled on the floor from this.
I posted the second part of the vid on this thread last night. The combination makes it even funnier though.
I'm not sure the Rockets have been this excited about a draft prospect since this rebuild started. They seem to have *really* wanted him almost as a "last piece of the puzzle" sort of thing.
We really start cooking if Jabari gets his mental right and becomes the taller Klay Thompson we hoped him to be. If that happens and Reed's shot translates...we won't be jealous about OKC's core anymore.
