My ideal Astros bench would be Dubon, Caratini, Salazar, and Cabbage. All 4 of those guys would be capable of everyday play, offer at least some measure of defensive versatility, and they complement each other’s bench/substitution skill sets.

To answer your question when they leave Denver or the altitude magically lowers, they have the worst home field disadvantage of all sports in this country. Everybody that goes there performs worse than normal away from Colorado for some reason. It's like they forget how to play at normal elevation.
