Another massive deal: Brooklyn has a deal with Houston to return the Nets’ 2026 first-round pick for a 2027 Phoenix Suns first-round pick, sources tell ESPN. Rockets also acquire 2025 right to swap Houston/OKC first for 2025 Suns first-round pick. More details coming on picks deal.

Wait...why...didn't the Nets 2026 pick just massively go up in value? Why are we getting rid of it?

How does this benefit us? Nets are going to be worse than Phoenix.

Do we expect the Suns to suck worse than the Nets? What is going on?

I think Stone expects the Suns to blow it up this or next year

    I bet not.
The West is always harder, Nets were in the play-in hunt for a lot of the year, despite being so terrible!!

I'd put my money on the Suns in '27 having a higher pick than the Net in '26

PLUS we got extra swap options out of all this

I'm not sure how to feel about trade knowing the Nets just guaranteed those two picks got better.

So essentially we traded a swap and a pick for 3 picks and a swap. Albeit they will be Phoenix picks rather than Neta

Checkers. The Brooklyn picks are worth way more than the Suns picks after the Bridges trade.

Well that would make @SamFisher 's dream come true. Lol. Damn, I'd be pissed if we traded for KD at this point, but I guess we will see.

I’m sorry, this I don’t understand. KD is already 36 with a lot of miles and bad injuries. So the plan is to get him next season, after the deadline at the earliest when he’s 37?
