Beginning to look obvious Sarr is going to fall in this draft. Rockets want Sheppard, but if Sarr is at 3 they’ll likely be forced to take him as the “supposed” best player available. The guy can’t shoot and didn’t start on his team in France. Feel like he’s only being loved so much because of the “Wembly Effect”. He’s not even close to being the next Wembly as he’s 5 inches shorter and can’t shoot outside shots. Rockets need to do a hard pass on this guy.
Sarr will keep Wemby honest. He is to quick off his feet for slow Wemby. After their 1st meeting, Wemby is toast.
Sources say Sarr is indeed falling. He could have a long green room wait, falling from the first pick to the second pick.
The only reason why Sarr may fall one pick is because he’s refusing to workout for the Hawks. If we could land him at 3, it’s be a major steal.
The French Connection is the result of the 2024 NBA draft. It tells the story of NBA teams in the Southwest Division, and across the league, in pursuit of a new dynamic SA duo.............
This is nothing to be afraid of. Sarr may end up being the best player in the draft by far. Rockets will 100% select Sarr if he falls to #3, maybe to trade him.
All reports say he's not making past Washington. You don't have to fear anything. If you're a Sheppard truther, you should be more afraid of Atlanta taking Risacher so the Rockets will likely trade down in that scenario and skip on Sheppard.
I like what I’ve seen from Sarr. I think his floor is a legit 7ft switchable defensive big. So he’s floor is a taller, more athletic, healthy Robert Williams. He’s still very young. If he can develop an offensive game and a long-range shot he will be a star. He can play with Sengun. A future 3-man rotation of Sengun/Sarr/Bari at the 5/4 would be pretty awesome. So I don’t see a problem with Sarr falling to the rockets.
I only just realised Sarr is a guy who was in the NBL. The guy who put up 5,3,5 and 9,0,3 in back to back losses to be eliminated from the playoffs. Yikes.
