Im not a professional scout but what do you think scouts do? They interpret through knowledge and experience. I can look at video and tell you what’s right and what’s wrong but that’s just through my knowledge which is obviously way more limited than professional scouts and coaches. But its still from knowledge not bias or not assumptions or emotions. I wished people on here post videos they edited and show us what they mean when they Sengun is a great defender or when Jalen Sucks or when Cam doesn’t play defense.

Incorrect on literally everything in this post. And with Alp the team was top 10 in defense. Better with him than without. The team was really good when Green was a net negative as well. So maybe we should trade him and get people that make shots, since that’s actually what the teams weakness is
Who said anything about cherry picking? What professionals are you talking about? Analytics have nothing to do with people that played the game or observed with their eyes through knowledge of the game. Analytics paint part of the story through averages, projections, ratings etc and doesn’t tell you how a player attains those numbers physically and in real time in terms of decision making, effort, and teamwork etc. That’s why you need qualitative and quantitative analysis. It’s ridiculously flawed to only base your analysis off metrics let a lone a few arbitrary ones you use to form an argument

Jalens play at the end of last season was just what we had been waiting for. Cambreezys shooting in his rookie season was better than what we expected. He will only get better. Jabaris end of game shooting was on par with him getting better. Aquaman is still a starting caliber big man. Trade Alpi now while he's hot. Somebody give Tillman a beer and the mic!
