most if not all pitchers on the roster work with Yainer just fine. all of us don't know what Framber's deal is with Yainer. It's somewhat worrisome.
He has stat chasing moments at times like with the quality start streak when all the runs he allows are unearned.
Ok… so he’s just a spoiled pre-teen brat and is selfish and causes distractions that to you that are disgusting. Hard to believe you’re not a tad biased in your view of him with those choices of words (yours, not anybody else’s…). And yet he still remains the most consistent/durable starter the Astros have had… and no other Astros starter has dominated towards a WS win like him. I agree, when he has a subpar outing, it’s annoying AF… only because we know how high the ceiling typically is for him.
I've changed my tune on this team in regards to trades. This team did win WS two seasons ago and deserves to stay intact as much as possible. I advocated for Framber and Chas to be traded while their value was high but there's still something special about this team. Altuve, Yordan, Dubon, Chas, Pena, Framber, JV. These guys are untouchable. Tucker and Bregman should also stay until they decide to leave as FAs. Keep the morale up for the rest of the club that we don't just trade you away because of value. Hunter Brown, Spaghetti, Yainer, Blanco, Meyers. All of whom didn't have a hand in the WS too much and could be traded if the need was there, however. Our bullpen has been hit but still considered one of the best on paper so keeping Abreu, Pressly and Hader is ideal. But not untouchable in the years to come. Keep our guys happy, retool where you need to for the future and ride or die.
even though the bunt worked, i'd prefer dubon to just try to get a hit. his numbers with runners on bases this year is at all-star level. then chas......that bunt should have been for the 1st inning lol
Javier was more dominant in a World Series win with a no hitter (albeit combined) and Urquidy has been more consistent on the big stage. Framber... it's a coin flip on what you get... he's 7-5 in postseason with 4.24 ERA, which is not exactly dominant.
