    Make it happen.

Paul George, sorry to tell you, 4 year extensions after age 30 are probably not happening.
    Take our two year deal.

You can thank the new CBA

I wouldn't mind PG being a Brooks replacement. His position and still being good means he's going to limit Cam and Amen minutes.

So definitely would help the team win more games and possibly be more than a first round exit but might be bad for long term development though pg would be a great mentor for Can and Amen.

FVV and PG is one hell of a vet mentor duo. The team would have no excuse to miss the playoffs this year.

I have less than no interest in old man Playoff P, I wish him well in retirement.

If we just needed a good veteran player to put us over the top he would be ideal. As it is we have a lot of youth who need minutes to evaluate them. All he would do is take minutes away from the young guys. I think PG is a good player and a great guy but not someone we need right now at his age.

Nice thread title, OP. :D Scared the f$#k out of me, though.

No to wasting anything more than a Tate or a Landale on this guy. If we try to force the window open by wasting assets, it'll close sooner. Now's the time to stay the course and not get nervous.

There is no way the Rockets trade any of the young guys for PG. It's going to be for a vet and draft capital if it happens.

I'd rather not even give up draft capital to get him. Second rounders, sure. But the Brooklyn picks? No way.

Post references Paul George talking about Houston Rockets and their players
Responses reference Paul George actually being on the Houston Rockets and/or trading for him.

    America's future is safe.

    Brooks + Tate + Landale + 2027 HOU FRP (top 5 protected) + 2 2026 SRPs for PG.

    Final offer.

Only works if PG pulls a CP3 and only wants Htown.

If he does actually get traded, I envision Eastern Conference (NY, CLE, MIL, ORL)

PG is just putting the squeeze on the Clippers because they haven't offered him a 4-year max contract, yet.

None of the four SoCal boys (PG, Kawhi, Westbrook, Harden) want to leave the Clippers. They are exactly where they want to be.

I don't believe for one minute PG will leave them. WB is the one that might bolt.

Absolutely no to 4 years. 2 years and the 3rd as a team option sure.

I suppose it's possible. As far as the landscape and the contract, this guy summed it up nicely.

Honestly this is exactly what I have in mind and is also an underrated outcome that might actually happen in the next few weeks.

    https://hoopshype.com/lists/aggrega...se-maxey-free-agency-zach-lavine-trade-talks/

The Houston Rockets are big game hunting, and one of the many notable names on their radar is Paul George, league sources told HoopsHype. George could potentially exercise his $48.8 million player option to facilitate a trade to his next destination, but currently, the chances of Houston landing George are unlikely, sources said.
