If Luke Kennard was in this draft, and I knew, not projected, he would be a 40-50% 3p shooter, I’d pick him top three here. Because 10-15 mil a year for that kind of shooting is a good deal in today’s game.

I don’t care if Reed is picked at 3, or traded down and picked 10, because cap wise, after this year, we will be maxed out, period. We have room for a max guy plus more, then we will most likely extend both Jalen and Alpi, then the following year extend Jabari and Tari, so forth and so forth. So I care not what we pay Reed.

He shot better than any player I’ve ever seen in college, so, I believe his floor is Luke or Duncan, and thus, 10 Mil/year is fine by me. He fits great, is a student of the game, is a hard worker and hustles, nonstop motor.

I suck at evaluating talent, but he checks every box I have when it comes to our current roster. Also don’t care he’s 6’2, Chris Paul is shorter, and this kid is a better shooter than Chris Paul. Someone else can run the offense and he can run off screens and light everyone up.

I think the Hawks will take Clingan at 1, the Wizards will take Sheppard at 2, and we'll be stuck with Sarr at 3, who won't get any minutes and will be kept as a trade chip for a star who will never appear.

And the fact that we’re even considering making a division rival better is even more ridiculous. I just know that Stone is going to f this up. Just take the blessing that was handed to you and stop with all the nonsense.

Sarr on this team would be interesting. Him at 4 could be exactly what Sengun needs.

    This generations Downtown Freddie Brown.

I actually wouldn't mind if they brought in both Reed and Kennard. I might even throw in one of the big 6 to make it happen. That's how bad this team needs shooting.

A front line of Bari/Sarr/Alp is appealing to me. That front line can compete with the T-Wolves front line.

I think Reed can be a guy that can run pick and roll with Sengun and Green all day.

Like I said, I hope they get Simons (Who I know would look great in pick and roll and # 7 Knecht. Then I would start to look at what it would take to get Kennard in here. These guys are floor spreaders that would make it so much easier for Green to operate at the start of the 2nd qtr with the 2nd unit. They wold fit with Alp too. Get these guys and hope Tari can stay healthy and Alp's outside shot improves over the offseason to go with a 2nd year Whitmore. Sign me up for this.

Miles/Knecht/Kennard/Adams and Cam on the 2nd unit. Sign me up for this. One of these guys, probably 2 will catch fire each night and the bench will go from a liabilty to a strength.

He’s got a shot to be a real force in the pick and roll with his shooting and BBIQ. He’s not skilled up enough to be a stand still iso scorer. He’ll have to get his threes off action, pick & roll and the break.

No worse at it than Price, Nash, FVV, Curry, CP3, Mitchell or any of a million other tiny guards who were great volume shooters.

How were they different in terms of ability to get a shot off in the NBA that Sheppard can't replicate.

Not saying he willl be as good as any of them, but this notion that Sheppard will be smothered and unable to get a shot off is absurd.

Almost all of the recent champions have gotten their playmaking from a front court player or by committee with no true PG racking up dimes.

The idea that you need Stockton or Magic has never held water. I think Sheppard is perfectly capable of managing an offense, if not ideal.
