FVV was one of our best defenders last season even at his age with injuries. Hell him and Lowry (both undersized) were superb defenders with that Raptors championship team. Chris Paul at barely 6 feet was our defensive anchor during that 2017-2018 season.

At the PG position strength, IQ, and hustle/effort matters more than just height. Some of the "bigger PG's" are some of the worst defenders in the league, for Luka Doncic, Lamelo ball etc.

Not even saying Reeds defense will translate, but just using his height alone is not a great indicator of anything.

Everybody's sliding. We just won't have picks 1, 2, or 3 in this draft. We'll just start with pick #4.

Some excellent points. I wonder if players like Harden and Luka are humanly capable of being good defenders with as much usage as they have. Maybe players with high scoring usage can be but if you are scoring and getting assists it seems quite difficult.

It's a good point. A lot of offensive juggernaut have to tone down defensive efforts to save energy. But I think even when you turn down your effort, the instincts/anticipation are still there. Kawhi in Toronto also lost of of his defensive hustles, but he was still making plays just from having good hands and punishing you for making bad passes.

I actually think Harden is a good defender in some aspects, he just has some of the worst horizontal quickness for his size. That and he ball watches a lot when he rests on defense.

But legit Harden has some of the best hands, steal instincts I've seen. If you bring the ball in certain positions, he will strip you without fouling.

I just think instincts/anticipation matter a lot as a defender. Way more than size.

I think the Rockets are smart. They see him as a late lottery pick due to his size, thats why they are on the Knecht Train.

With news of a Sengun for B.I trade proposal, it makes sense to pick Clingan; shot blocker, good passer, has shown 3pt range.

    No alts here.

You have some serious issues. I guess it is time to put you and your obvious alts back on ignore. I made the mistake of taking you off of it for one day do to some of the responses to you not making sense without context. I can live wothout that context to avoid your trolling.

Lmao, like you have any idea whatsoever about personality disorders, outside of your own diagnosis.
You have no comebacks besides the I’m rubber you’re glue tactic. You’re the king of having alt accounts. Sad existence

I think Edey is better than Clingan. And the Rockets would be foolish to trade Alpi.
