Which is fine, it just says that you don't know what you're seeing when you watch basketball. I'm sure you think Yao Ming and Jeremy Lin are similar too.
Well yeah, but you are saying Ferdette who is laughable in that he was way older, shorter, played no defense and was strictly a gunner. This kid is 19, and is a dead eye shooter.....not just a good shooter, a GREAT shooter, those guys always find a way to make it in the NBA. His LOW end....LOW end is Steve Kerr........his high is whatever.....don't know but if baseline is Kerr he is worth a shot. DD PS. We are in the taking SWINGS stage......and hoping someone hits a peak.....
You wouldn't know, you'd have to actually watch to have even a potentially valid opinion on the issue.
Dont you think I've watched by now? I can tell right now that Reed is no where on Curry's level. He will never be able to create like that and for y'all to put him in that category is setting him up to fail.
Steve Kerr will tell you now that he was and is not worth a #3 pick in a weak draft. You can find production close to that in the second round. You guys are not doing Reed any favors by overhyping him so.
Too low LOL, IRS gonna launch into space reaching both heights combined LOL!! IRS capable of matching not one but TWO generational GOATs?! What a terrible take even by DD standards.
I haven't totally given up on him either - Its fairly easy to see that all he has to do is improve his shooting, mostly from distance and he's just what the doctor ordered - a three level threat. Maybe he is a late bloomer and he is still a very young player. Even if he doesn't "Make the leap" this year doesn't necessarily mean the Jalen Green experiment has to come to a close. He can stick around on the right contract. He is the prime example of a player who needs to go thru restricted free agency. Let the market set his price and let Stone decide if he is willing to make the match or not.
There is zero question that neither he nor the other guy spending so much energy bad mouthing Sheppard have watched. I had to take the other guy off ignore temporarily to make some of the replies in this thread make sense. His trolling is so bad he will be back on ignore shortly after the draft. He has also shown to have alts that will be on ignore now too. Coachbadlee is not a troll he is just wrong about Sheppard.
Pretty large activity difference on defense between Reed and Jimmer/Kerr. Guy is a steal/block GOD, and you have to account for that when discussing Reed.
Oh shut up, I was wrong about Sengun. At least I can eat crow and speak positively about him. Saying a 6’3” guy is too short when it’s average height for his position is stupid. Go on somewhere with that
I watched back through some tape, and if Amen and Sheppard are on the court simultaneously, the D will be pretty dynamic. Guys driving the basket would constantly look over their shoulders and turn the ball over. Also, Sheppard would likely pile up a few weak side blocks after Jalen "funnels" a drive to the rim. (Note: I'm being charitable here and NOT saying that Jalen is out of position or has bad technique. Sheppard's weakside help would actually complement Jalen's improving, hands-off trail-the-ball style D.)
