I was just about to say.....***** been heated in here as of late. I mean you do you but its just baseball...being played by multi-millionares, now, you give me RHONJ and I'll tell how much I hate Teresa Giudice and Louie, those people.....
Somebody in that nine has got to step up, **** is getting old relying on two hitters to do anything.....
And for the better !!! I have no idea what is going on w/ Yordan, buy if a family member needs him that's more important than baseball. Most of us have benefits at work where we can take days off in an emergency. Regardless of how much a player's salary is, requiring him to put team above family is severely uncool. That's pre civil and workers' rights stuff and basically inhuman.
True... but the Astros need not shoot themselves in the foot. The caught stealing yesterday was stupid -- Cabbage wasn't even close. No stupid outs on the basepath. Other than that, if we can avoid hitting into multiple DP's and get balls-strikes called fairly, we should win. Hunter should perform well enough. The lineup is ugly without Tucker and Yordan though.
Crochet has given up 6 earned in his last 8 starts The one thing he will give up when he gives anything up is the long ball. He has given up 10 of them this year We ain't stringing hits together off this dude, our only chance is to hit a couple of bombs and Hunter shuts them out
The bottom part of that line up. Gross! That might be the weakest hitting outfield they've put out there in maybe decades. Seriously. Can anyone think of one worse?
It was in response to post #363 which was a re-tweet from "Milo Hamilton's Microphone" about Roger Clemens pitching the day his mother died and Lance Berkman said you owe it to your team to play. @RussE said "My have times changed"
