Logic would dictate a pretty obvious answer to that question. Did Bibi plan it as a conspiracy??? Most likely no. Did Bibi know about it and encourage it?? Most likely not really. Only subconsciously. I doubt he would ever mutter the words out loud that could be used against him if it did happen. Did BiBi know about the plans and say to his cabinet …”eh they aren’t smart enough to pull this off and if they do.. we will crush them!! Etc etc.” To me using logic and reason that seems the most likely scenario for how this went behind the scenes. Bibi’s a skilled politician and knows not to openly express or support a terrorist attack against Israel. But that doesn’t mean that normal objective people can’t look at folks like him and previously with W and say to themselves… yeah… you are benefiting from this attack on our country and using it as a political stage to prop yourself up. The only question here is how the people of Israel get this man out of power before he destroys everything positive that the world thought of with Israel. Sadly enough though if you look at their political system vs ours it’ll be way easier to get Bibi out of power in Israel than it will be to get Trump and the MAGA party out of power if Trump wins and holds a GOP Congress. We were very fortunate 9/11 happened at a time where Bush both did not have the interest that Trump had in becoming a dictator and that he did not have the grip on power that Trump will have with all three branches of government bending the knee. Not to make the Israel war all about Trump but cannot help but look at Bibi’s political situation and wonder what it means for where we are going soon.
@rocketsjudoka @Nook it's worst than we thought. IDF actually moved commando units from gaza to west bank the day before the attack! WTF?! why would you move forces away from gaza days before the attack when you know the attack will be in gaza? It's almost as if they wanted the attack to be successful? What a disaster. No word from the right wing german @AroundTheWorld who bootlicks bibi.
There you go. Was wondering what happened to you. Are you still ass kissing bibi and claiming he's the greatest pm ever? Are you happy with the IDF moving commando soliders away from gaza after being told the date and time of the attack? IDF knew where and when the attack was going to be yet they moved troops away from gaza. They refused to reinforce the border even after learning the exact details of the attack. @fchowd0311 you were right about alot of things. It almost seems as if israel didn't mind the attack? I know it sounds crazy but I just grasp why bibi would move commando troops away from gaza day before the attack?
I’m not expert on this but from seeing and reading about the US response to 911 it is possible and even likely that there wasn’t a conspiracy from Likud or the IDF regarding the attack. Intel agencies frequently get reports of potential attacks and there are always questions about how strong the intelligence is. In the case of Israel they are likely dealing with many reports of possible attacks from many different directions. It is certainly possible they considered a possible attack from the West Bank more likely than Gaza on October 2023. hopefully Israel will have their own Oct 7 commission but it’s very speculative to say that Netanyahu deliberately allowed the attack to happen.
You're just making things up to give bibi the benefit of the doubt. Theres no evidence they had "multiple intel coming from different direction." You're just making stuff up. The intel they had from Egyptians nd Americans were strictly about gaza and they had exact date. Quit making up excuses bibi. It's pure incompetence
In the past 24 hours Israeli media has done nothing but talk about the incompetence of the IDF and bibi. News anchors are demanding for Bibi resignation after hearing the IDF failed to act on intel. 76% of Israelis want bibi to resign right now What does bibi do to change the news narrative. Starts attacking biden what a utter piece of **** human being @Nook The worst PM in israeli history
Does that at all counter the point that the best thing Hamas could do to save Palestinian lives is turn over all hostages, alive or dead?
Who's disagreeing? Obviously I agree. What's also horrendous is that bibi was told when and where the attack would happen and instead of securing the border he moved troops away from gaza. US intelligence told IDF that they were focusing too much on west bank and the real threat was in gaza. Idf refused to listen to intel and instead doubled down and move their elite units away from gaza. Bibi should resign right away and 78% of Israelis agree with me.
I admit to speculating but you’re also speculating in incomplete information. And if you recall my original I did say it was likely incompetence. That isn’t the same As a conspiracy to allow it. Again, don’t attribute to malice that which can be explained by incompetence”.
Do you even read what the links I post? I did not "speculate" anything. The CIA and egyptian intel told bibi that they had too many troops in the westbank and the real threat was in gaza. They showed the IDF satellite photos of hamas training for a big attack and gave them intel from confidential sources that an attack was imminent. The idf instead of moving troops to Gaza they transfered elite commandos from gaza to west bank. 77% of Israelis want bibi gone as of today after the new report. You don't need to speculate conspiracies on his behalf.
And I’ve posted several times regarding the possibility of Netanyahu being removed from Office. Im discussing something much narrower about why Oct. 7th happened. Yes I read the evidence about it all I’m saying is that it doesn’t mean that there was a deliberate conspiracy to allow it. Just like there is evidence that 911 or Pearl Harbor might’ve been a deliberate conspiracies to happen but none it’s definitive. if pressed on it my own view would be it’s likely incompetence or denial in the part of the IDF that Oct. 7 wasn’t stopped ahead of time.
50k+ people protesting on a Tuesday calling for bibi to resign. Yikes Bibi is imploding in real time. This weekend is going be a nightmare for bibi
What you were responding to was Douglas Murray telling Mehdi Hassan that he should tell his friends in Qatar to tell Hamas to release the hostages. Clearly you didn't agree with that, because your response was not, "Yes, of course." it was "you realize that your ass buddy bibi is going be kicked out of power." which cannot reasonably be interpreted as agreement with the post you were responding to. It certainly seems like you are more concerned with the actions of Netanyahu than the actions of Hamas.
