Hamas is not an option at this point / the 32-38 percent of Palestinians that realize that need to step up because they ARE the future not the 62-68 percent that still think a government of Hamas should be tolerated
This was a very good read about the hostage rescue of the hostage men that got dramatic very quickly- unfortunate that one brave IDF soldier lost his life when the rescue team was literally surrounded by close to 250 true Hamas members or armed "civilian enablers" of Hamas- either way the vast majority of these fockers got wiped out that tried to stop the rescue thru armed means / My favorite part was the fact that they bombed the effing building to the ground after the rescue to cap off the conclusion of a largely successful mission
So basically your favorite part is about vengeance and blood shed and not about rescuing innocent hostages.
@ROXRAN to be fair eliminating enemies is decreasing the chances of kidnappings. say you have 300 enemies and they all will kidnap your citizens. if you eliminate 200 enemies, that's a decreases your enemies by 2 thirds. Also, if you play call of duty, shooting your enemies is fun.
Both - honestly, if I had to choose one, it would be about rescuing innocent hostages, but at the same time I want the IDF to make an example that housing these hostages and keeping them captive for no good reason will have consequences. the government of Gaza needs to be eliminated
The fact that you think it sets an example shows that there is a misunderstanding of the situation in the area.
@AroundTheWorld @ROXRAN I don’t support Hamas but they are clearly more sane than woke fat people Especially on Clutchfans they are woke as transgenders pretending to be lesbians Hamas just wants to destroy Israel woke just destroys everything including their own @aalvy
I fully agree with the bolded statement (with the 'current' qualification), but might I offer a different perspective? If the aforementioned act succeeded in standing as an example that achieved the mutually desired outcome, that would be one thing. Unfortunately, the fact that the example will likely be twisted and serve to achieve the opposite intention is exactly why instead of it being a positive/favorite part, it is actually the most tragic aspect of this entire situation. The most heartbreaking thing about the nessecity to kill another is that it beats the alternative, and while I support one cause over the other, I mourn death all the same.
But you somehow don't believe that the thousands of Palestinians that havnt been charged yet is perfectly okay? Why do you value innocent Israelis more than innocent Palestinians. That's your core problem. @Nook you see this? Even some israeli media verified it
Pretty much you have it. On the very page you have people saying killing Palestinians is about sending an example and is fun like playing. A video game.
The Palestinians do not have a partner for peace negotiations. The settlers are religious fanatics who believe God demands they keep fighting to take over From the River to the Sea. They are about 1/3 of the Jewish population are younger and have more kids than the older secular Jews. Of course the Likud party of Netanyahu has never accepted peace either Interesting that the mainstream media always demand Hamas be banned from any future peace negotiatons
Because the percentage of innocent Israelis is exponentially higher than that of innocent "Palestinians". I value the actual innocent ones on both sides the same, but 70 % of "Palestinians" still think October 7th was a good thing, and the vast majority of them still supports Hamas.
Many Trump supporters who didn't commit crimes on January 6th support those that carried out J6 violence, crimes and the attempt to overturn our democracy. They still support Trump. But those people are still innocent and do not deserve punishment unless they personally committed crimes. This not to compare J6 with October 7th, but to point that voicing support for something means it's okay for an advanced military to kill you, is just an idiotic idea. The support for Hamas fluctuates. The desire to live in peace with Israelis fluctuates. Those that commit acts of terrorism are not innocent, but those that answer a question about supporting something aren't deserving of death.
The government of Gaza started a war with their neighbouring country, and took hostages. That country strikes back and tries to free the hostages. Sucks for the inhabitants of Gaza, but they actually elected that government years ago, and, according to polls, the majority of them still backs it. This is a war.
I get that it is a war. However it is a war against Gaza which isn't capable of taking over Israel. Israel's existance isn't threatened. They have a vastly superior and technologically superior military. So it is reasonable and just to avoid collateral civilian deaths as much as humanly possible. Israel hasn't even taken the same preventative measures that they have in recent conflicts, so it is a valid criticism to bring up the death of innocent civilians.
So if someone attacks you who doesn't have the same capabilities militarily, then you are not allowed to strike back at them, just a little bit, according to military genius @FranchiseBlade. Got it.
