Peacock has released the full-length trailer for “Independence Day” and “The Day After Tomorrow” director Roland Emmerich’s new gladiator epic TV series “Those About To Die”. Based on Daniel P. Mannix’s nonfiction classic of the same name, Anthony Hopkins leads the cast as Roman Emperor Vespasian during the height of the Roman Empire. The story deals with the complex and corrupt world of ancient Rome’s spectacle-driven gladiatorial competition as those in charge seek to entertain the masses. The ensemble of characters covers all corners of the Roman Empire who collide at this explosive intersection of sports, politics and dynasties. The cast also includes Tom Hughes, Iwan Rheon, Jojo Macari, Liraz Charhi, Johannes Haukur Johannesson, Rupert Penry-Jones, Emilio Sakraya, Eneko Sagardoy, Pepe Barroso, Gonçalo Almeida, Kyshan Wilson, Alicia Edogamhe, Sara Martins, David Wurawa, Gabriella Pession, Dimitri Leonidas, Romana Maggiora Vergano and Moe Hashim. finally a sequel series to spartacus. but they should really do a remake of caligula. feel free to use all colors of races as long as no transformers and it's rated x(xx).
Speaking of Peacock I highly recommend you watch Brave New World currently on Peacock. I think you would like it. Not for the faithful adaption to Aldous Huxley’s masterpiece but for other gratuitous features
I finished this series and not bad. Pretty entertaining and a decent story. While It relies heavily on green screen for backgrounds but some of the action in the chariot races are pretty good. Iwan Rheon who I had only seen before as Ramsey Bolton in GOT does a good job as the power behind the scenes and some strong supporting characters. For Jontro will enjoy it does follow the Spartacus formula with gratuitous boobs.
