North Shore's Devin Sanchez, one of the best cbs in the country commits to Ohio State over A&M
Coincidence? There are no such things as coincidences.

This is why I feel it's definitely more CJ than Slowik

CJ bailed out Slowiks offense tremendously. It's way too many 3rd & longs for my liking

I'm not a Slowik hater, but IMO he gets too much credit for CJ's development, particularly from media not located in Houston who do not watch every Texans game live. He's more of a Kyle Shanahan imitator than a special, insightful play-caller.

That said, I definitely wanted Slowik back one more season because continuity is a good thing for a very young QB. If he leaves next year, I don't think the Texans will miss him and a different voice would be welcome.

I somewhat agree as well, it is more CJ. But I will say some of those play calls (and you could see them broken down on YouTube after the game) were so well thought out and smart plays that really beat the defense.. or maybe I’m just so broken by the playcalling before CJ and slowik that it just looks amazing haha

Non-Texans fans would call me a homer, but Burrow's demonstrated fragility makes him #3 on that list.

The real debate here is between Josh Allen and CJ. IMO, Allen gets more flak than he deserves considering the huge burden placed on him and the limitations of the other skill guys he's played with. His weakness of throwing too many head-scratching INTs is what keeps him below Mahomes (that and Mahomes' insane clutchness).

If CJ manages to build on his rookie year, he'll become a consensus top 3 QB after the 2024 season.

Feels like if you keep existing contracts CJ should be the consensus number one

Right? Can we let Stroud play his 2nd year before we talk about this?
