I need all the wing spam, I mean wing span members to weigh in I mean length in on what this guy’s is. He got a lil Kevin Hart to him in the arms.

The Rockets do not need any more high flyers who can't shoot from distance consistently. This is the team's biggest need. It would also help if they can trade for more shooters using the fringe assets without touching the core if they can.

Agreed, get Sheppard or Knecht or a defensive specialist big who can catch a lob and crush the rim.

I do not see them taking him. If they do then the Vipers will be set at center next year.

They aren't but he's the single most desirable prospect this year so they're trying to let teams think they're going to draft him at 3.

I have no idea why people are dismissive of the idea that the Rockets may be interested in Clingan. Did y'all forget how heavily they pursued Lopez last season? It wouldn't surprise me at all if the Rockets select Clingan.

Because it would be really stupid to pick a 3rd string center #3 overall...... but you're right, we shouldn't give this FO any benefit of the doubt, they haven't earned it. They really could be that dumb.

Excited to have both Shead and Clingan in workouts. These are the first two significant workouts I’ve heard about. Even though I don’t think Clingan and Sengun work, and even though they share the same agent, who likely doesn’t want them on the same team, I’m trying to keep an open mind about drafting Clingan. Vegas says it’s gonna be Clingan or Sheppard, but I’m sure the Clingan odds also factor in the real possibility that Houston makes a trade with a team moving up to draft him.

Love Jamal Shead. I feel like it’s 50-50 he’s there at #44. Don’t think we need to add two more rookies, but Shead’s defense, playmaking, and leadership are some of the best in this draft. Great pick in the 2nd round. Needs a lot of work on shooting with Ben Sullivan.

I agree it is a smoke screen but I am not sure about him being the most desirable. If he is the most desirable it is a product of he PR machine.

He is the most desirable for center hungry teams. The Rockets really want to trade the pick and, thus, the smokescreen.

Who were the Rockets workout for the 4th pick last year? I know Thompson Twins were here as well as Cam. Where there anyone else? Cause we are 2 weeks away from draft and the only player I've heard a lot of connections to the Rockets seems to be Clingan.

there are rumors out there that Reed’s and Castle’s people are trying to steer them towards the Spurs. Would be crazy if we couldn’t get both in for a workout. Since that kind of thing has happened before I’d be pretty disappointed in the front office.

I think that's strange too. I keep hearing people saying he can't play beside Sengun. But that perplexes me because there isn't a guy we're looking at that is going to get to start. Reed Sheppard won't start. Risacher wouldn't start. Etc etc. So why is that the issue with Clingan but not those other guys?

Have the Rockets ever drafted a player in the 1st round that they didn't workout?
