Great analysis! As well, he doesn’t always have to be the point of attacked defender. If it is not a good matchup, he can very easily stick on a crappy offensive option in the corner and be effective.

It's kinda funny how everyone is pooping on Coach Cal but in the same vein he is about to get two guys drafted in the top 10. It's terrible for the results for winning games but clearly something is working in getting his guys drafted year after year.

You guys are looking at measurements when they first came into the league. Its known that some players continue to grow when they enter the league. When Tatum entered the league he was 6'8. Some continue to grow until they're 21.

Mind you, this was in college

DD, you really think he has Steph Curry shot making ability? I've seen you post on this board for a longtime and I respect your assessments but do you REALLY think this kid has the ability of a once in a generational player?

The guy is a poor in-game coach. He’s a salesman and a politician who recruits his ass off. But strategy and rotations isn’t his strong suit.

Guys are just excited about the kid. He can really shoot the rock and I think he’s an NBA guy all day long. I like him but I think 3 is a tad high. But if you like a player you take the guy and don’t look back. It’ll be interesting to see what the Rockets think of Reed. But a shooter like this kid could really help.

Somebody has to be the fall guy for Sheppards shortcomings.

You guys were right. Sheppard is a lot like Harden. Disappears when you need them the most. I mean what kind of generational player scores 3 pts in a championship game?? What generation is he representing??

You know I have no idea - tbh - I just don't like people labeling him.

I know he is the best shooter coming into the league in decades - and that can't suck......and he seems to have a high iq and his shot is beautiful, so I think he will be a good to great player, yes.

But I am no expert......on kids coming into the draft and what they will become, and neither is anyone posting in this thread.

I think you're on to something, we should draft Jack Gohlke because he dropped 32 points for Oakland in that game

No no let's keep this about your guy Sheppard. Dont try to deflect when the truth surfaces. Its almost like you're running away when the lights got bright like Sheppard and Dillingham do in championship games.

That's exactly what should have happened. But Jason Kidd wasn't smart enough to do that, and they got killed in the 3rd Q by Porzi. If he unleashed the Klingon, the Mavs would have won.

I was just being silly. Seriously though he will be a good player in the league once he gets decent playing time.

I think he will fit in perfectly with Alpi and Amen as far as distributing the ball and/or being a dead eye shooter. Jalen(if he stcks) and Jabari will be lucky to have such playmakers on the floor with them.

If you know anything about college sports, you would know that they add a couple of inches to look good for scouts. Kinda like how Bronny has been listed at 6’4” but he’s actually 6’1”
