Espadumb's stupid ass should use Dubin for 1, if not, 2 innings -- but dude hasn't pitched in so long, not sure how the long layoff will affect him. Pressly, Montero, and maybe Abreu should be ineligible.
Why do we do this to ourselves....these west coast games suuuuuck. So dang tired, but still watching....and just waiting for the bullpen to lay an egg...
So official MLB website/app now lists the "expected W-L record" when looking at the standings, and guess what our records "should be"? Seattle 35-33 Houston 34-33
Right, because Pressly and Abreu pitching 3 games in 4 days is obviously better. Eta- Scott is in -- wouldn't mind him for a couple innings if his first 3 outs go well.
Stros pitchers getting a buuunch of calls these couple of innings. Luck Meter balance from the first 60 games
Not sure how everything started to click for Scott, but he was on the verge of not having an MLB career. 46 innings pitched and an unbelievable 73 hits given up before this season. Along with 27 walks, his whip was over 2.00. He's given up only 20 hits in 33 2/3 innings this year. That's one unreal turnaround.
And the Mariners now lead in their game. No surprise there. Can our bullpen hang on to stop the bleeding?
