I watched the first episode and thought it was very mediocre, so I didn’t bother watching the second. It also looks like early reviews of episode 3 are saying it may be the single worst episode of Star Wars anything ever (except maybe for the Holiday Special), and it’s certainly the worst episode that Disney has produced. It sort of makes me want to hate-watch it.
Yeah that was pretty terrible and I could care less about all the background stuff people are b****ing about, I just want an entertaining show and thus far it's been pretty subpar.....
I'm not hate watching these shows anymore and I don't even have D+. The reaction vids can be hilarious and are quarter the runtime on top of 2x speed.
If you watched 1 and 2, it is a requirement you watch episode 3. It will put a nice "cap" on the series for you. Seriously. "Trust me".
I didn't have much of a problem with the first 2 episodes but yeah, episode 3 was one of the worst things I've seen in recent memory. It was just so freaking boring. It felt like the most generic episode from a 90s sci-fi show. Right down to the non-stop music right out of Xena: Warrior Princess. And for what? I was expecting some kind of twist about what "really" happened. But no, it's just what they already told us happened. They just stretched 20 seconds of dialogue into an hour long boring ass episode that didn't further the plot in any way.
It was pretty bad. Especially the chant. Mae has no motivation for the assassinations at this point, or even an unreasonable one, and that motivation needs to support the story right now. It can't. Eventually they will pin this on bad Jedi, I get it, but they at least need to give me a reason to think otherwise for that reveal to mean anything. They haven't. D+
