To be fair to the Biden campaign, they are not focused on trying to convince Trump voters to switch their vote from Trump to Biden. As much as it would be great to live in a world where votes were gettable in the Trump party, they know that's not reality. The path to victory is getting back the voters who voted for Biden in 2020, and respond negatively about Biden in polls, etc. The Biden campaign seems to be operating as though they believe a good chunk of voters have amnesia, and forgot how bad Trump really was. I don't think they are entirely right here because I don't believe the polling all that much, but it sure looks like they do. Perhaps the strategy is first try to remind those voters who checked out why they voted AGAINST TRUMP in 2020, and when we get into July/August hopefully they'll launch an impactful easy to follow and repeatable slogan with popular policy items. I personally think Biden should do this sooner than later, and run almost as an outsider fighting against the system/billionaires/supreme court/dark money, etc. I understand why they feel like they should wait till they officially get the nomination at the DNC, but I think it's a mistake to wait. You gotta launch your campaign NOW. Not just focus on playing some short term defense. The only way you'll truly get Trump voters to switch their vote (long shot but doable), and charge up your base of voters while also appealing to independents is to have that sort of outsider campaign now.
I like to see what new grifting opportunity Trump is trying so I get his emails. I have opportunity to be on his Advisory Board IF I donate.
This **** is so funny to me. White Trump voters finding random black people that say they will vote for Donald Trump. I guess if you come up with a premise that is false, and push it hard enough - maybe people will believe it. Joe Biden will do fine with black voters. Right now Biden and Trump are 1% point apart in cumulative polls. Having said that - the Electoral College is going to decide that, and I think that Trump has an advantage there. Georgians are going to come out to vote and make sure that a Democrat isn't elected, they were caught off guard with how organized the Democrats and Abrams was in getting high woman and minority turnout. If I had to put money down, I would say Trump is the slight favorite because of the Electoral College, but the election is not today - and Biden, as the incumbent is going to do things that can help sway voters and the traditional media still has power, and will not want a felon that is unpredictable being President. Whatever party wins in 2024, is all but guaranteed to lose in 2028 as Americans are tired of the BS from both parties.
George Conway: To your credit, you have it partly right. The critique of Trump is that, yes, he *is* bad. Yes, he *is* evil. That doesn’t mean, however, that everyone who supports him is all bad, or that everyone who opposes him is purely good. That’s because Trump embodies the worst in *all* of us. For we are all human. Trump revels in and glorifies our worst human traits: self-absorption, greed, mendacity, vindictiveness, ignorance, and so much else. He embodies all that we should aspire, and teach our children, not to be. Worse yet, he gives permission for others to be their worst selves. And that is the ultimate danger he poses. He’s a threat to truth, honor, reason, and decency. And that’s mostly without regard to policy—remember, Trump’s party is the party without a policy platform—although it does have implications for policy. But those are secondary. First and foremost, Trump and Trumpism pose a moral test, not a political test. I hope and pray and believe that our nation will pass and survive it.
I'm not that familiar with Amber Rose, but I do know about some similar influencers that I know are being targeted given their audience on Instagram, etc. I wouldn't be shocked if there's a strategy to pay off influencers like this who are heavily followed on social media for their assets. I recall hearing about a similar influencer getting roped in by that Milo Yannapolis or whatever his name is from Breitbart via Kanye. I guess they roped her in by allowing her to be part of the Kanye Vultures launch, and trying to turn her audience politically. Also have to admit that it's not the worst strategy in the world from Trump world. I know they are heavily focused on depressing the African American vote since they understand that they lost in 2020 mostly because of Detroit, Milwaukee, Philly, and Atlanta African American voters turning out in a way that shifted the swing states blue.
JD had that wrong, the question is, "Would you be willing to commit a crime for your highness", bonus points if your already under indictment
I've seen and heard this from several Trump supporters. They will rail about how rude, especially young people and "leftists", are but then will say they are proud when people get offended by what they say and that they support Trump because he is in your face and unapologetic.
Biden will never win over MAGA but there is still a good possibility of winning over those who aren't paying much attention or primarily unhappy with Biden for his age and inflation. There is nothing Biden can do about his age and inflation is largely out of the President's control. What can be focused on is to continue to remind voters who are not MAGA just how awful and dangerous Trump is. I think this OP-ED from retired Admiral William McRaven who was former commander of the Navy SEALS, and a Texan, helps a lot and we need much more from people like him. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2024/06/03/america-exceptionalism-prove-william-mcraven/ Opinion How do we want America to be? We have the opportunity to continue to be viewed as exceptional. "Now, a former president has been convicted by a jury in New York, and we have a choice to make. We can show the world that we are still exceptional and continue to lead the international community with integrity and pride, or we can prolong the onslaught of crassness, vulgarity, pettiness and righteous indignation and descend into national mediocrity, where there is nothing of value worth emulating."
Maybe Mr. Bone spurs shouldn't have said all the crap he did about soldiers. Trump Demands Biden Remove Ad of Him Calling Dead Soldiers ‘Suckers’ and ‘Losers’ https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump...-him-calling-dead-soldiers-suckers-and-losers
