Is that a real stat? Even if we were at .500 at 14-14, we'd be first or close to first in the division.
Abreu and Pressly getting old should have been on everybody’s radar. They actually did act on one of those… and figured the other woudln’t matter as much based on the rest of the lineup. Scary to think where this team would be if they hadn’t gotten Hader. He’s been the only consistent leverage bullpen guy having non-stressful innings for some time now.
Oh it's real, I've kept up with it since I noticed we lost almost every close game. I post it every time it's gets to this situation. We are 22-15 otherwise. It's all been about lack of clutch hitting and unbelievably bad back end of the bullpen.
THIS THIS THIS There was ZERO reason to leave Press in the game with Hader rested. He could have easily come in and finished this win Now who knows whats about to happen but if we don't score here in the top 9 we are about to go to run out of bullpen guys So damn stupid. Espada is probably a very nice guy, but he has no ability to make a decision in the heat of the moment As for Dubon, he ain't a 3B. I know most here think Dana built a great roster, but we have no legit backup 3B. I don't blame Doobie for that error, he is trying to do something he ain't built for. FU*K
I've heard Ryan has a very bitter relationship with his mom and has essentially cut her off from his life. He's seems like the type to hold a grudge against the Astros for bringing in Hader and dogging it.
