I like it when you have just a few items. When I have a lot, I need the belt and the process of laying out my items by bag. Which most grocers these days haven’t a clue how to properly load. Maybe my standards are higher because my family was in the grocery business but I think it’s just common sense not to put onions and potatoes on top of tomatoes.

Whoosh! You missed the point completely.

I don’t care about the cost. Just raise your prices overall and quit ****ing b****ing about it.

I’m leaning into the thread subject here, fam.

There aren’t any trivial annoyances that truly affect my mood in life. **** like the gutting of public education to make way for for-profit schools get my goat (not for this forum). With things like that, if I can’t affect it yet, I put it away for later.

    I love you all.

No, but I watered the garden with gatorade, it's got what plants crave.

And you get bothered with the most trivial pointless things right in the middle of work that requires high level focus. It’s tremendous.

Nailed it. The general lack of awareness of people, whether it be on the road or in a store, just infuriates me to an embarrassing level of anger.

This thread has so much awesome in it. Maybe it says something about me that I can relate and appreciate to almost all of these annoyances.

Since I haven’t seen it in awhile and I want to make sure I still sound like a broken record, no I don’t want to tip the subway employee for making a sandwich. No, I don’t care to provide tip bc you turned around and grabbed a few donuts. No, I’ll pass on providing you extra income for “making” me a black coffee. No, I’m going to decline providing a tip for picking up my own food and leaving. No, you don’t deserve a tip for doin your job just bc your stupid company utilizes Square, Toast, or Clover POS systems.

I’ll gladly pay 20% tip across the board for waiters/waitresses and bartenders.

I just tipped a barista 20% for a stale croissant and luke warm Americano.

I tip mostly out of habit but also as someone who did work food service I get it how shyte these jobs are. Also there are some people who actually have to count on tips for survival.

I do think our economy and culture would be better off with a better social safety net regarding things like health care and more affordable housing and we could do away with tipping. It's like in Singapore and Europe where you tip only for exceptional service.

These ERCOT notices that come out and tell us we all need to sleep with the thermostat at 80. Yeah, no. It's not our job to take care of the grid - it's yours. If I'm going to pay these high prices for power, I'm going to use as much as I want.
