    Perfect gif

Yordan homers with Bregs on base.

The big man is surging. We can ride that bat for a while.

Brown last 41 IP, 14 ER, 1 inning short of a 3.00 ERA.
Arrighetti last 25.1 IP, 3.55 ERA

JV and Framber only lacking consistency.

Blanco needs to pull it back together after an unreal start to the season.

Bregs had to hustle to make up for that pathetic attempt at scoring earlier.

Are we flirting with disaster every game?

I will say this is a very encouraging sign the Astros are putting it on a high quality starter tonight.

Well the 8-20 record in close games says if we are then the outcome is usually not kind.

So why don't we just put the game away so we avoid flirting with disaster.

After last night, I think I'm shaking Brown's hand when he comes into the dugout after just 5 innings.

Only thing I would consider is letting him start the 6th until someone gets on base.

    Brown -- 83 PC thru 5

    Yall want pitching another inning?

Speak now or forever hold your peace.

Brown's workload seemed to hinder him middle-late last season. I say pitch him with Martinez, Scott, or Dubin warming -- two runners reach, insert bullpen, then let them throw multi-innings.

Yeah because you never saw Maldy go to the mound and chew Framber’s ass to calm him down.

Have you seen me on this board giving Maldy verbal handjobs? No. Was it time for Maldy to go? Yes.

But if you don’t think Framber trusted Maldy you’re wrong. No reason to be a dick. But go ahead and get your likes by being just that.

Kid, I’ve been watching since 1980. Am I wrong by saying Framber needs to stay out of his own head? I do t give two sh*** about Maldy, but he didn’t put up with any of his garbage whether he pitched well or not.

Yes, Framber trusted Maldy... but trust didn't lead to results... after that no-hitter, Framber was infuriatingly inconsistent even with his security blanket with him... that security blanket may have been infected by anthrax.

Considering how Maldy was regarded in the clubhouse and hiring a rookie manager, it wasn't his time to go.

Stros could've ran with 3 catchers (Maldy 40 GP) or hired him as a coach.

Astros had multi-inning options out of the bullpen with the surplus of starting pitching. They could've easily survived with one less bullpen arm to offset the roster spot having 3 catchers.

Maldy’s pitcher whisperer skills were grossly overrated. Keep calling me names lol.
