WASHINGTON, June 6 (Reuters) - Hamas has seen about half its forces wiped out in eight months of war and is relying on hit-and-run insurgent tactics to frustrate Israel's attempts to take control of Gaza, U.S. and Israeli officials told Reuters.
The enclave's ruling group has been reduced to between 9,000 and 12,000 fighters, according to three senior U.S. officials familiar with battlefield developments, down from American estimates, opens new tab of 20,000-25,000 before the conflict. By contrast, Israel says it has lost almost 300 troops in the Gaza campaign.

(so basically the IDF is doing what needs to be done-)
Further,... "There is never a goal to kill each and every last terrorist on the ground. That's not a realistic goal," he added. "Destroying Hamas as a governing authority is an achievable and attainable military objective,"

The "Palestinians" want to murder all Jews in Israel. Period.

How can you blame the Jewish Israelis to say, ok, well, we are going to preempt you?

"All Palestinians want to kill jews" lol your braindead talking points don't work here. The same amount of extremists on the israeli side exist on the Palestinian side. Your framing of the argument is utter bullshit.

Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in west bank work in peace in Israel with no issues. The extremists in Israel whom are in power are just as bad as anyone on the Palestinian side

The defense minister of Israel is a convicted criminal who has portraits of serial killers in his office. Who exactly are you fooling here? I'm not a braindead MAGA who you can lie to

Over 70 % of "Palestinians" want to murder all Jews in Israel.

The number of people in Israel who want to murder all Palestinians will be below 3 %.

    HUGE difference.

And a huge reason they work in peace with Israel to a large extent is Hamas has NO governing authority in the West Bank - Free Palestine from Hamas !

Can you tell me why close to 500+ Palestinians have died in west bank since October 7. These are folks who have been slaughtered by violent settlers and other extremists for no reason other than being Palestinians.

None of those lives matter but were suppose to sit here and cry every day for the israeli victims from October 7 (tragedy as well).

the point you succinctly made is that Palestinians and Israelis can work together in the absence of a governing Hamas entity which is a matter of fact in the West Bank where there is a collaboration of part A, B, and C ,...

I don't condone Palestine deaths in the West Bank when it is unwarranted even in the revenge situation of Benjamin Achimeir- let the IDF Do its diligence and put the Palestine perpetrators to face justice and not a mob justice - After the Hamas atrocity of Oct. 7 - It's understandable that there will be a spike in retribution and violence, but the whole point is that there can be a collaboration made when the government of Hamas is destroyed so let's do that. Support the IDF to destroy Hamas And you may not have some thing that looks perfect, but you can have a more peaceful coexistence

The bottom line is if you want to save lives - the Hamas government needs to cease to exist

Getting rid of Hamas in totality To each person is not realistic- But what is realistic is to dismantle the ability of the Gaza government and to r****d it's tunnel system that is heavily relies on - So far it's working- But the job needs to continue, and unfortunately, there is going to be civilian casualties - It truly breaks my heart- But Hamas is desperate to exist to do Oct 7 everyday - Israel has no choice but to resolve the destruction of the government of Gaza -

They need to take over Rafah or the border area so they don’t have a supply chain from Iran

    @basso

what I would do is move the Palestinians to Ukraine and they can build tunnels for the Ukrainians

they build Palestine next to Russia
