way too young. these type of coaches fail more often than not. unless you're steve kerr and inherent a team with two of the greatest shooters of all time and a defender who gets to do whatever he wants on defense.
JJ Redick's coaching experience includes coaching his 9 year old's travel team. At least after dealing with the travel team's parents, he ought be able to navigate a hostile sport press.

I believe Reddick to be very intelligent, knows the game and potentially could be a very good coach. But I believe he will fail. Not because of his own shortcomings, but the shortcomings of the Lakers roster and their inability to improve it.
Finally a decent, level headed and articulate commentator who actually managed to provide context, break down plays with insight and truly explain so everyone could understand. Shame
