All my favorite Palestinians were Mexican.
Mexico rules because so many cultures integrated there over the last 150 years.

Congratulations to Sheinbaum and Mexico but other than thst this is ground breaking I don’t have much of an opinion as haven’t followed her career or know much about her positions.

What I’ve heard is she will likely keep the previous administration’s policies.

You know the Muslim organizations don’t like to be mis-labeled like Sunni terrorists don’t like to be called Shia terrorists

this Mexican Jew isn’t the same as an Ethiopian Jew .

Woke people think all Jews are white so this so confusing for them

they need Kyrie to teach them breh
Jews are a religion and diverse

Read this as a primer, since you seemingly know very little (which is a nice way of saying "next to nothing", which is the even NICER way of saying "bless you heart"):

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politics_of_Mexico

Just a quick fun fact for you: she's of the same political party that has run Mexico since 2018

    Here's more basic info

Congrats on having read two Wikipedia pages - this goes far beyond your usual level of "analysis".

Changes absolutely nothing about my statement though.

She is a hardcore leftist. Bad news for Mexico (and the US).

Crime will continue to go up (unlike in Bukele's El Salvador). The economy will continue to go down (unlike in Milei's Argentina).

Unfortunately, these are the predictable results of continued governance by leftists.

Instead of suffocating crime and nurturing the economy, they suffocate the economy with taxes and bureaucracy while nurturing crime ("defund the police", etc.).

We see it everywhere. Leftist-run cities and states become dystopian hellholes (like San Francisco and Venezuela) - taxes and virtue signaling go up, living conditions worsen except for the clique of leftist cleptocrats.

Eventually, they run out of other people's money.

You do realize she cut the murder rate in Mexico City in half right? Of course you don't. It doesn't fit your incorrect narrative.

Even the leftist Guardian doesn't believe this falsified statistic.

    https://amp.theguardian.com/world/2...-murder-rate-dropped-disappeared-number-rises

She has no actual interest in reducing the murder rates, or she would follow Bukele's playbook. Instead, she subscribes to the leftist theory that the only reason for crime is poverty (which makes the criminals the victims, and a protected class).

So you posted 1. An article where even they say they don't have the data 2. An opinion piece with no facts from a right wing rag. Got it.

If you actually believe that murder rates in Mexico City halved in 4 years, with no drastic measures to reduce crime having been taken, good luck to you!

Investors love political gridlock because it means the status quo is unchanged. With this election and the super majority her party has achieved, the investors are spooked because her party will likely be able to make whatever changes they want.

I really know nothing about Mexican politics. My exposure is that it’s all cartels and that Northern Mexico has created a super economy with Southern Texas due open trade, low wages on the Mexican side, and the energy sector on the Texas side.

I would be troubled if she was a cartel puppet but it sounds like she is just a socialist. I think she will succeed because Mexico has the demographics to transform like the Asian tigers did. The only real factor holding that back to me are the warring cartels.

MEXICO CITY, June 3 (Reuters) - Claudia Sheinbaum, a climate scientist and protege of Mexico's popular outgoing president Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, won a landslide to become the country's first female leader, though the scale of her victory sparked jitters in the markets.
Former Mexico City mayor Sheinbaum, 61, won the highest vote percentage in the history of Mexico's democracy, according to preliminary results from the electoral authority. She secured 58.8% of the votes with 82% of the ballots counted.

In her victory speech on Sunday night, Sheinbaum, a physicist who was part of a United Nations panel of climate scientists that received a Nobel Peace Prize in 2007, thanked Lopez Obrador, calling him "an exceptional, unique man who has transformed Mexico for the better."
The victory is seen as a major step for Mexico, a country known for its macho culture and home to the world's second-biggest Roman Catholic population. She is the first woman to win a general election in North America, comprising the United States, Mexico and Canada.

But her party's win was so large that markets fell on concerns that the ruling coalition could secure a congressional super-majority, allowing them to pass controversial constitutional reforms such as in the energy sector unchecked.

The Asian tigers most definitely did not transform through socialism.
