And why do you think that is the case? And at what point do you think that might change?

He is and as was mentioned the executive action won't have the force of law that would be in place if Republicans actually would vote on the bill.

He answered your question. Your convicted felon already tried executive orders that were stopped by the courts. This one will likely be stopped as well.

Heck, I would not be surprised if the maga republicans try to stop this since they are more interested in criticizing Biden and having a campaign issue than doing anything to solve the problem.

Because that is how they grew up. They can have that belief just like the Jehovahs witnesses in my neighborhood have their belief. That doesn’t mean that they can or want to impose them on others.

In fact the Jehovahs witnesses are far more pushy about their beliefs than the Muslims in my neighborhood.

It is changing already. Many of the Somalis who are younger and or born here are less traditional.

What we are seeing in other parts of the world is that there is a certain tipping point in terms of percentage of the population they represent from when the open intent to indeed impose things becomes more obvious.

The only reason you think they don't is because they are not in a position to do so. If they were, they would.

There is zero chance that Jehovah's Witnesses will ever be anywhere close to a relevant sized percentage of the population, anywhere.

How certain are you that this is not just wishful thinking? Evidence from Europe suggests the opposite - the younger generation is often MORE radical than their parents.

    Key takeaways:

    • Compared with Muslim immigrants, Denmark-born Muslims more strongly identified with Muslims around the world and scored higher on most predictors of violence.
    • Denmark-born Muslims also “perceived Western foreign policy as more unjust, felt more group-based anger and showed stronger intentions to support Muslims by nonviolent means.” This is an example of what the authors call a “vicarious psychological response.”
    • The authors believe this may be due to the increasing saliency of ethnic identity in Europe, which could be adding to feelings of isolation and exclusion in Muslim communities. The authors quote one Denmark-born interviewee: Ethnic Danes “see us as an undesirable element in the Danish society, but we will never be ‘Danes’ in the Danes’ eyes. For them we will always be an unwanted and excluded group of people.”
    • Anger predicts support for violence.
    • The Denmark-born Muslims were angrier about Western intervention in Afghanistan than were Afghanistan-born Muslim Danes. (The difference in anger in the first study was not statistically significant).

We’ve had this discussion. I was in Europe not that long ago and am planning a trip to Ireland and the UK soon. I haven’t seen Sharia law imposed in Western Europe and I doubt I will.

What I have seen is a lot more places to get Doner and Shwarma.

How about this since I’m trip planning. You tell me where Sharia law is actually the law in Europe and I’ll make sure to skip those areas.

Why the **** do you try and turn every thread into your personal echo chamber. You try to take over every thread with your bullshit. This one is about Illegal Immigration, yet you turn it into b****ing about legal Muslim immigrants. Can't you keep it to one of other multiple threads you have about Muslims?

First of all they aren't illegal. They are asylum seekers. If the GOP would vote on the Border bill it allocate more judges, staff, and personnel to process asylum seekers faster and remove the majority that don't qualify. This is what happens when they won't vote on the bi-partisan bill.
https://www.cityandstateny.com/poli...,600 asylum, five boroughs, albeit not equally.

Also the hotels in NYC are of different sizes. The largest ones have thousands of rooms, and the smaller ones only a few. So talking about strictly the number of hotels, that doesn't really tell us much.

Thirdly, you can presume first that anything that comes from the Xeet account "End Wokeness" is full of crap. At least reasonable people can presume that.

OK so you just don't like it but can't really refute it either. Thanks.

Is it a technicality to call someone who is in the nation legally an illegal? No it isn't. It's just plain incorrect.
