That is solely your characterization. Fauci et al using their decades of experience and science to make recommendations … which if you were paying attention they let you know that these recommendations would change as we got more information … which they did.

If only we had a 763 page thread detailing the day by day discussions of the events with posters on each side, one warning about the untested and authoritarian nature of the events unfolding while the other side lock stepped with the authoritarians claiming we were just doing our job we were only acting on the best information at the time.

Being overly cautious during a pandemic isn't really one of the threats people need to worry about when it comes to Authoritarianism.

 

What's the limiting principle here? At what point is the treatment worse than the disease?

Fauci funded dangerous research that led to creation/release of Covid, and he tried to cover it up. And got super rich and famous in the process.

 

So what you are claiming has not actually been shown to be fact as of yet. It is merely listed as a possibility. The treatment has not been worse than the disease. It was a pandemic. People that got the vaccine were statistically safer than those that didn't.

 

I see you've gone from the "this never happened" phase of your argument to the "it happened but it's not a problem" phase. soon, it will be time for the it happened, it's a problem, but nobody got hurt" segment.

They are already at the "the people who have a problem with it are the problem" stage, and they have always been at that stage.
