That said, he could be suitable to be included in a bigger trade involving Jalen for instance. He is more than salary filler though, he would warrant a roster spot on all 30 teams.
It is time for jg to go Hopefully Charlotte will give us #6 and a future pick for him Then we trade down and get Edey and future picks.
As I said, I am really back and forth on Jalen. Not a Jalen hater, not desperate to trade him, but also not ready to commit, as long as he doesn't become consistent. I would be perfectly fine to see how it goes this season and let him enter RFA. But I think the Rockets might feel that for financial reasons and to maximize value, they might have to make a call sooner than that. I don't know.
aint nobody should be untouchable for the right deal, tbh. if shenj and jaylon gets us ant, then we go for ant.
Cmon man. I enjoy your posts, but really? You're always on the trade Jalen wagon. All I know is, they wouldn't have made it back to .500 if not for him. If they'd had Alp and Tari, they would have at least made the play in. Add BPA with the 3rd and let it roll.
I flip flop on Jalen like his performances flip flop. I don't dislike him personally like I disliked KPJ, his inconsistency just frustrates me so that I often feel like we would be better off if we trade him. But then again, I see the potential, and then sometimes I don't want to trade him.
The efficiency is frustrating yeah, but many quality players had similar numbers in their first 3 years. Many did. He's had 1 year under Ime on a team not designed to tank and progressed in many areas. Looking forward to seeing him and Alp on the court again next year.
Do not know whose alt account you are, but re-read my post and check JG's March stats. And the 11 game win streak sparked.
I am very interested to see how Jalen starts next season. I was ready to get rid of him until his streak. He performed well enough for me to give him a partial pass for his dreadful performance the rest of last season although I will refrain from too high expectations. I want to see if he can harness at least 50% of his streak energy for an entire season. If he starts off poorly yet again he should get no more than 10 games to get going. If he plays well all season lock him up. If he can't deliver for an entire season then his value should be determined through RFA. If another team offers him max money then "see you later".
you're defense is 11 out of 82 games? howbout last 10 games of the season 39.0 FG% 28.2 3PT% 50.4 TS% what's your excuse?
Agreed, Tari is Carl Landry with a bit more potential. But I don't trust his health or stone hands. Should look to package him to entice another team while you can imo.
