It doesn’t feel like a dynasty brewing at all. There is no obvious franchise guy. Things are pointing up but not straight up.

 

Sad but true, I just don't believe in Jalen & Jabari. Amen is awesome except for his shot. But imo Cam and Sengun could easily be the 2 best players after it's all said and done

I agree with you on Jalen but I think Jabari has the right coach now who matches his intensity. He's going to be star in about 2 years. He just needs to gain weight.

 

I hope so, sometimes it's frustrating to watch Jabari wiff on a mismatch.

I always see him with a 6'4 guard switched on him and he settles for a mid ranged shot and misses. Even if he makes the shot it makes me mad, take the guard into the paint and lay it in bro you are 6'10

I don’t think he is in the class of Doncic, Greek Freak, Tatum, Jokic, Embiid, Durant, Curry class - maybe soon, but not yet.

 

I agree, he could put it all together, but he's still got quite a bit to overcome if he's going to get there. Sengun isn't a superstar, but he's the closest thing the Rockets have to a star on the roster under the age of 25.

I really don't get these type of takes.

Cam can't maintain a live dribble the moment he has to actually break down a set half court defense. Green was splitting double teams with a live dribble at age 19.

If your hopes are Cam replacing Green then you are setting up yourself for failure.

If people think Green isn't going to be enough, then his replacement for what he can do isn't going to be replaced with something currently on this roster. It will happen through a trade to aquire someone who is more advanced and developed at what Green does like Mitchell

There is no one on this roster that replicates Green's skillset. Not Amen. Not Cam.
