I know that. been here for a minute. It’s still 95% better than most of the cess-pool sports forums out there (including twitter)… but there’s a **** ton of assumptive takes over the last 2 years that turn hyperbole into expected truth, and I’ll fact-check the hell out of the ones that continue to spew things that are blatantly false. Bagwell isn’t the GM and never was. The front office didn’t decide when to bring back Abreu… they probably would have released him by now had he not agreed to be demoted to begin with.
Dubon fixing to surpass Altuve in OPS on the season…while nobody will question Altuve’s drive/ability, he is 35 years old and needs to be managed as such. Last year he played his ass off but it was a truncated season due to the injuries. Chas hopefully can reward somebody for all the playing time he’s getting. Yes, you can’t lose your expected job due to injury… but he’s either still hurt or there needs to be some sort of consideration of whether or not he’s the best choice any given night.
Curious on what are Diaz’ splits when behind in the count… either this year or last year. He’s a free swinger, no doubt. And sometimes he’s able to do damage with balls out of the zone. But the book is certainly out there as to get ahead of him in the count… and make him get himself out.
This will be Blanco's final inning -- finish it scoreless. Prepare for a Scott/Martinez multi-inning appearance.
